#204

This is so devastating for those losing their homes! Find an alternative!

Hayley Ryan (Auckland, 2021-11-05)

#210

family's losing their home for a bus way is just plain stupid

Michelle Quickenden (auckland, 2021-11-05)

#217

My family live there

Stacey Carroll (Auckland, 2021-11-05)

#221

I am strongly against this new bus route as it effects my family and neighbours.

Melissa Chapman (Auckland, 2021-11-05)

#222

This is a disgusting move from AT. So extremely out of touch with reality.
Enough is enough of their tyrannical moves

Rhys Berkett (Auckland, 2021-11-05)

#224

People have not been consulted and they are losing their homes

Sarah Peekins (Auckland , 2021-11-05)

#226

This will destroy my neighbourhood!

Liz Sayer (Auckland , 2021-11-05)

#231

I don’t agree with the Eastern Bus station

Yongchun Zhang (Auckland , 2021-11-05)

#232

Because I don't want our quiet neighborhood to become noisy because of the eastern bus stop to be built later. There are a lot of business districts in front of the community. Why not levy them, but to destroy our originally quiet community?

yue yang (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#233

I think the government is wasting the resources of our society. Because Ti Rakau Dr. did not exceed its planting load. Most of the residents of our Burswood area have retired, working from home or working nearby. Public transportation is redundant for us. Building more roads will only cause greater pollution to the environment.

Alison Wang (Auckland , 2021-11-06)

#234

We have a property there and my in-laws live there. We love the quiet and open community, the only drawback is getting in and out of it. A central bus station will further deteriorate the problem and force many people to sell their homes and move when they don’t want to live anywhere else. There’s a patch of lan right opposite Bunnings, why not build it there if it has to be done in this neighbourhood. More council land grab as happened many times recently.

Frank H (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#235

This is a dumb plan , This needs to be stopped

John Boyd (Golflands , 2021-11-06)

#236

This route stands to alter and disrupt our community unnecessarily and unjustly.

STAY ON THE MAIN ROAD AND AWAY FROM OUR HOMES

Chris Hancock (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#244

I oppose this plan by the government as i feel the sentiment of the people being affected. It is best to re-think this plan and consider the people and its best to to have a better plan of expanding Ti rakau road rather than getting all these houses being demolished.

Zinnia Langit (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#245

Looking at the plan it seems the government only consider the business in the area and not the family getting affected by this plan. People have lived here for more than 10 to 20 years, how will you expect them to re lived their lives somewhere else considering the housing crisis and the age of these people getting affected to loan from the banks.

Alfredo Langit (Auckland , 2021-11-06)

#249

Fuck Auckland transports shit

Jacob Mcnickle (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#257

This is stupid. We need housing at the moment. Build the bus station somewhere else.

Ashling Aileron (Paraparaumu, 2021-11-06)

#259

This is an illogical and poorly thought out route. I have friends and family in that area and it greatly affects them. These residents would be hard pressed to find any housing to replace their homes also in current market. You are screwing with peoples lives here, enough is enough. Find someone who has some actual knowledge and logical thought for these projects, and fire the person who designed the AMETI intersection at panmure - diagraceful.

Stacy Gould (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#261

I'm signing this petition because I think this is just outrageous how city plays with people's lives.

Galina Konycheva (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#262

People's homes must not be seized. There us a grave housing shortage in all of New Zealand. Where are these people supposed to live?

Denise Gore (Napier, 2021-11-06)

#263

The plan is ridiculus and the residents deserve better.

Ian Milne (Perth, 2021-11-06)

#268

People in the affected area need to be given the choice of what happens in their neighbourhood. Why make changes that will impact the community with no real benefit?

Alison Abbott (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#270

we don`t have enough homes as it is just destroying families

sue Maslin (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#271

Why not take some of the industrial area instead of homes?

Dalyn Nunn (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#274

Once again the Government is wasting money just keep the current route.

Rod Mitchell (Auckland, 2021-11-06)

#275

My friend lives in burswood

Lacey Middleton (Hawkes bay, 2021-11-07)

#279

This route change impacts me indirectly.
I feel this change route is senseless and waste of tax payers money.AT is acting like a dictator and uprooting families and communities to appease businesses.

J D (Auckland , 2021-11-07)

#282

No one should lose their home for the AT project

Julian Koenen (Auckland , 2021-11-07)

#284

It doesn’t make sense to disturb the residents when it can be on the main road, it’s stupid to turn inside to the residence area.

Carol Lu (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#287

They want to demolish my home which we have worked hard for. I love living here which is quiet and great to live in. The plan that I had been told for years was that the busway would remain on Ti Rakau Drive. How is this the better option?

How can they choose to put so many families out of home instead of just widening the main road (which is what they are already doing in other parts of it)?

I would like to see how this option is better than the others, it looks like it is the more expensive option.

Henrietta Palu (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#292

My family, who live in this area will be affected as they own a house in this area.

Henrietta Latu (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#293

This is absolutely ridiculous there's a housing shortage I can't buy a house and things like this make it worse!! NZ public transport is a joke and no one will use it stop wasting money

Aimee Gallagher (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#299

I don't like people being forced out of their homes

Christina Hale (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#300

We are loosing our house without even having a chance to leave having knowing that the busway is coming through in the future. We are not far off retirement so there is no why we can get a large mortgage so face the possibility of having to quit our jobs and move out of Auckland. Our future plans and lively hood are about to be destoryed by those inconsiderate so and so's at Auckland transport. Like others around the affected Burswood area we are extremely pissed off. How many people in Burswood actually use the bus. I would say that is a very small percentage. How do you justify causing so much hurt and destruction to so many peoples lives.

Malcolm Gray (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#302

I support the busway but object to the Burswood section when the advertised and consulted plan was to align with Ti Rakau drive

Mike Jones (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#305

I live right where they plan on putting the bus station. I’m not cool with that

Luke KEIR (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#307

MY FRIEND LIVES ON THAT STREET, WE ALREADY LOW ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING WHY MAKE IT WORSE

Jona Ierome (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#309

To support my family who live there, and will be impacted by the proposed new draft route through Burswood!

Alvina Saulala (Aucklanf, 2021-11-07)

#312

I’m signing for my family

Mary Maika (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#313

My family members own a home in Burswood and they will be directly affected by this!

Theresa Latu (Auckland, 2021-11-07)

#315

You mess with peoples connection to a place they cherish as home for a busway? Easy for Auckland Transport to make this decision because it isn't going through their homes!

Teariki Engu (Auckland , 2021-11-07)

#324

Ok so they knew it was going to happen some day but Now with covid on their doorsteps. Things are being pushed through, why, people are no longer important and lets do it when they are already in a vulnerable state.

Christine Browne (FEILDING, 2021-11-08)

#325

I am signing this because it is outrageous you would even think about taking away the homes (yes, I say homes because that’s what they are. Families who have lived there for years bringing up families, having life long memories just to name a few examples). It is unjust and unfair that you would this to SO MANY of the residents just to change a route that does not to be changed, a route that people are already accustomed to. You are not just impacting the residents but also the commuters.

Auckland transport is just a joke. Dont even get me started on the delayed buses and buses not even coming and crappy buses. How about putting the money you are wanting to make this new route to better use and fix up the problems that Auckland transport already has.

Jarome Niuapu (Auckland, 2021-11-08)

#330

I used to live in this suburb, adding a busway will remove the peaceful quiet nature of the area, nobody expected noise pollution when they bought their homes

Stephen Clarke (Auckland , 2021-11-08)

#332

My son lives in Burswood and will be badly affected by this

Mel Carroll (Waikato, 2021-11-08)

#334

I know someone who lives in that area.

Shalini Devi (Auckland, 2021-11-08)

#335

I support my my friend who lives in that area

Theresa Neal (Auckland, 2021-11-08)

#345

The idea is preposterous and will capture minimal extra patronage as it will just get to the fringe and has removed 40+ potential passengers. A circulating shuttle bus picking up from the whole of Burswood and dropping off at Ti Rakau makes more sense.

Tony King (Auckland, 2021-11-08)

#346

I am part of the East Auckland community and I care about what happens to my neighbours.

Leanne Purvis (Auckland , 2021-11-08)

#348

Because I have family who live there

Rachel Niuhulu (Auckland, 2021-11-09)

#349

I have close family who own live there and have been for years. Don’t take their home away from them.

Timinah Hale Butler (Auckland, 2021-11-09)

#354

I live in burswood

loyal noronha (auckland, 2021-11-09)

#355

I am blown away that the powers that be could do this to these residents without a thought about their lives. It was never going via Burswood. Put it back to how it has been notified for the last 15 years

Ellen Stehr (Howick, 2021-11-09)

#358

I have friends and families living in the area and it’s unfair for them.

Elina Veisinia Togia (Auckland , 2021-11-09)

#359

This adds immense cost, disruption and lengthens the bus route for marginal benefit if any. And there is already a cycleway that goes around the outside of Burswood Drive along the waters edge more or less, and very nice it is too, I rode it just yesterday. Why knock down housing to add another one, along with a bus lane that is far less direct than the original design?

The original design is more direct and looks as if it comes at the cost of car parks outside the businesses each side of Ti Rakau Drive between each end of Burswood Drive. This to me is a far more rational plan, we can afford to lose carparks far more than we can afford to lose housing

Peter Jenkins (Auckland, 2021-11-09)

#370

I'm signing because close friends of ours live in this community and it is a very important issue for them

Ana Fierek (Nelson, 2021-11-10)

#371

Not fair to Burswood residents for such short notice.
Original plan was better, I.e. straight route along Ti Rakau Drive.

Finn Rob (Auckland, 2021-11-10)

#375

I live very close to Burswood - this is clearly just a bad idea from AT, but unfortunately a bad idea that will significantly negatively impact the lives of many for literally NO gain. Just a plain bad idea from an organisation that continues to make these awful decisions with zero regard for the public who pays their salaries.

Nelson Potter (Auckland , 2021-11-10)

#376

Pakuranga resident. Do not want to see Burswood residents lose their homes and have to rebuy in this harsh housing environment.

Suzanne Carter (Auckland , 2021-11-10)

#379

This is a change to the original proposal without proper consultation with affected residents. Also makes no sense from traffic flow point of view

Tonia Still (Auckland , 2021-11-10)

#386

I have friends living in Burswood and enjoy visiting the tidy quiet suburb. This will change if a bus lane goes right through it.

Tarihi Casserly (Auckland, 2021-11-11)

#387

My family lives there and this will affect their house and household

seema Clarke (Auckland, 2021-11-11)

#389

I cannot see a justification of removing 40-50 homes when there are plenty of existing access points on Ti Rakau drive which could be used as a Station - ie where the pet shop is or the Asian library or the Gull petrol station or the existing bus station. Where will those people live given the housing shortage. Also commuters want a direct route and not a detour through the housing estate. The disruption to the community will be enormous and how will bus users access the southern industrial sites (and vice versa) from the bus lane that doesn’t pass the sites. This new idea is barmy army.

Donna Handley (Auckland, 2021-11-11)

#394

2 friends live in the area and will be affected. Also, there is a housing shortage and this will add to it if it goes ahead.

Glenys Clark (Auckland , 2021-11-11)

#396

A.T have no idea what the public wants . Stop destroying people lives

Dean Ross (Auckland , 2021-11-11)

#397

Auckland Council and AT have gone complete and utterly insane. They're so incompetent it's beyond reproach. Why the hell would you move a bus way to a residential neighborhood and buying up houses. The whole point is so that the houses are in the quite part of the road where pedestrians, cyclists and kids are safer from slower cars and less speed. You're that away a putting buses and more traffic there and put buses going part suburban houses every 5 minutes to do what exactly.
The damn dog legged redesign is the most stupid thing I've seen, keep the road going straight then the shops around it can have more pedestrian traffic. Have a look at Warschauer Straße, Berlin, Germany. It's pretty damn cool the design of this street. Incorporates, shops, green space, mass transit, cars and cycle ways. Not to mention the green space is actually usable for other occasions instead of just plantings. The last time I was there people moved their furniture from their flats and had an amazing meal on the side of the road.

Tsz Ho (Auckland, 2021-11-11)

#399

Its easier to pick on the individual families rather than go through legal procedures with commercial property owners. Once again this government not caring about the people and our community!
