This will have a negative access to the Faerie Glen Nature Reserve.

It will create a traffic disaster for my household

Two lanes per directions are already insufficient for the number of cars needing to use this road to get into the CBD and back - to reduce this to a single lane is absolutely absurd and spiteful to the ratepaying residents.
Unless bus-fulls of people will be driving bumper to bumper to get more people into the city faster, this decision is nonsensical. SInce there is sufficient space to build it, an EXTRA new bus lane on either side will be welcomed by all the residents.

The proposed lane closures will have a disastrous effect on the traffic situation - both roads are already overloaded with traffic. What we actually need is 4 lanes on both roads to carry normal traffic volumes..

The traffic in Lynnwood Road and Atterbury Road is already pretty hectic - obviously mostly at peak times - and it takes ages to cover a short distance! By taking away lanes it will increase the travelling time exponentially, drivers will be using more fuel - its just a totally stupid way to go

cant bear to be in more and more traffic jams

It is RIDICULOUS to think that reduction on these roads will do ANY good!!

The bus lanes will disrupt traffic as they do in Johannesburg

Residents will be severely affected in a negative way.As a resident I do not agree with the need for such a service.

How about some negative reaction: resistance, more comments, crash their website with a stream of continious complaints and reports. Think up a good plan. Put minds together and there will be a way to out smart this.
