Safer issues at KCC Park need to be addressed

I am appalled that DV members who pay an appreciable annual membership do not have sole use of the facility and that security measures have not been set up to ensure this is so.
The situation as reported is totally unacceptable and must be immediately addressed

Although too far away to use the park, I have a high level of annoyance with people that do not have well trained, obedient dogs that put other dogs and people at risk.

My friend had her car broken into at a dog show, and my handbag was stolen not a nice feeling, and the police said they were always coming there for the same thing,

Dogs Vic members should have priority. They pay a membership and because of this should feel safe on the K.C.C grounds

Signage at the gates saying Strictly Members Only, n offenders will be fined $500 just might help deter the non members

I believe the problems in The Knox area are from lack of police presence. There are also cars doing burn outs in the area. Something needs to be done. Like police or security guard monitoring and a boom gate when the club is not open.

I had a tow bar stolen off my car. This cost me $900 to replace as it was a special drop bar for my caravan.

I have had several bad experiences at a dog club when mon members have used the club grounds to run their dogs off lead. I was verbally abused because I was there trying to train my dog whilst they were allowing their dogs to steal my dog treats and be a nuisance . I had to leave the ground, even though I was a member and using the ground for its intended purpose.

It addresses the concerns of many members who do no longer feel safe when training or exercising their dogs at KCC Park.

I agree with everything the author says, also CCTV on show days would also be helpful.

Non VCA members do not comply with the
Off lead and on lead areas.
Will not pit dogs back on lead when requested claiming it's an off lead designated site

Members paid for the park therefore it must have restricted entry.
Members have a right to be safe at their own facility and management has a duty of care towards members.
