There are ways this owner could have been supported to keep their much needed pet despite being hospitalised for depression.
Why can they not return the pet and liaise with an organisation such as The Cinnamon Trust to support them.

Oh so typical of the 'bully boy' tactics of the RSPCA nowadays. Bloody disgusting doing this to you and Magnum. I've been asked to forward example cases to a very influential member of the government, showing how animal welfare is of no concern to the RSPCA, and how they target vulnerable people, and I'm sure you won't mind me sending him yours.
