I don't understand why the new administration should cut off the WiFi, this is affecting and rather disappointing our disadvantaged youth who gathered themselves to Close by WiFi hotspot for internet connectivity. The free WiFi was adding value to our youth and bringing the World closer by means of school projects, research ,assignments, social media etc.

We are currently living in the knowledge Economy, I know of people who have used WiFi to empower them selves. Internet has be used to provide better access to education, economic opportunities, health care and entertainment among a few.

When there is development a new incumbent can not take us back. Mashaba took us back, Parks Tau was able to provide people centred progress in Johannesburg. Its also undermining us as residents in the COJ because there was no public consultation.

Mayor Mashaba you are a Mayor of minority not Majority we will show u floods

To help the poor students from the previous disadvantage communities to assist them to research their school work

we are leaving in a world of technology , we can't survive without technology ,data is very expensive then our municipality need to relieve the community from this baden.

At first It was the cancellation of non-motorised transport initiative, now this! DA is taking us backwards

That wifi helped in running own businesses. We did research and it saved costs. Mashaba bring back our wifi

I'm a student and this free WiFi was the best E tool they have given us as a black child.

Cause as a Ex- councillor I was part of the adoption of the programme and implementation thereof

Disconnecting the wifi shows how anti-black the Mayor of Jhb is, its not a secret that us in townships that are using it more as to better and develop ourselves. As young people we have a clarion call that #DataMustFall and the Mayor only shows that we doesn't want us to progress, and he is also reversing the gains that have been made in the City. It is this wifi that assists us to do our assignements, apply for jobs, send emails as young entrepreneurs etc etc..

Alot of citizens benefited from this free wifi. Students and people living around the cbd especially Braam, benefited alot, they could do their assignments by researching using this Wi-Fi

Simple: I hate DA. I hate EFF for bringing back white rule when our democracy is still young and still maturing. Bringing the white rule back in this City reverse the gains achieved throughout the years and it undermines our forefathers and mothers who died for this country and the land
