SALT LAKE COUNTY EQUESTRIAN PARK

This is such an important venue for our granddaughter to compete at equestrian events. And it is such a nice facility!!

It's a great place for riders; friendly and welcoming, clean, and accessible. Don't close it!!!!

The south Jordan equestrian park is the home of salt lake county fair. My first year going was in 2009. I was in FFA. The fair meant a lot to me. I was showing my pygmy goat....my first year in goats. I won reserved grand champion 2x. The most memorable memory. I want my future children to have that memory also. Also I have helped with a horse show taking some photos. I don't want anything to happen to SouthJordan Equestrian Park except to stay!

We need more facilities for equestrians

Because I'm sick of our politicians doing away with our green space! WE NEED SPACE!!!! Not more commercial, not more housing, especially not high density housing! WE NEED SPACE, green space, freedom space, space to run, to play, to sit and relax. NO MORE DEVELOPMENT of our space!!!!

I have been in 4-H and FFA almost my entire life. The equestrian center has been a huge part of that. Losing the equestrian park would impact me and fellow members greatly.

It is a very important facility and many many lives are enriched by the its use. We need to have a well rounded community and not just cater to sports like soccer football baseball. This is an activity that can change a young or old persons life and bring strong discipline and compassion as well as skill please don't take this away from us. Utah needed this top notch facility.

I went to this event center in 2014 and planning a trip back in 2016. We need to keep our ties with equestrian events, dog events, things that keep us in touch with nature and animals. It's so important to have these facilities for kids growing up.

It's the only event facility large enough to host major events like the mountain affiliate reining horse finals

It's a small place to find serenity in a large city.

I believe that the Northern Nevada and the Western Utah horse people need this venue.

I use the facilities occasionally in my horse training business. Stay over night and ride in the arena in winter when it's winter. It's a very nice facility and in good central location close to interstate. Hope it gets to stay around.

Because an Equestrian park of this size will likely not be found or rebuilt in Utah again and it truly services a larger group then one would think. It needs to be preserved and maintained for future generations to enjoy.

We use the equestrian park frequently and need it to stay!!!

This Equestrian Park impacts my neighborhood greatly. Many of my neighbors have been working for years to make it a reality. Don't end it.

I used to live by there and we would attend different equestrian events.

We used the facility for 4H competition and practice, proving a unique experience for my children to learn to ride horses. It's a unique place, providing city kids an important link to our agrarian roots.

I love the horse park and it provides many opportunities for the equestrian community to enjoy the outdoors. The county provides parks and other public services for people. I don't enjoy skate parks but I don't think they should be closed because its not my recreation of choice.

I love equestrian sports and so do my granddaughters along with thousands of others in the Salt lake area and throughout the state. These people that are involved in this sport out in hours of work in order to compete. Also, it is a sport that children can be involved. In their whole life.

Because equestrian facilities need to stay open to give current and next generations an opportunity to participate in equine sports.

We do not need anymore ball parks or golf courses. Stop pushing the horse people out of the community we have a right to have a facility to use just as much as the people that use ball parks etc...
