I think it is a great shop, lots of items for sale, excellent prices, great service, it would be a great loss if it had to close.

I do not want to see this business close and put 100 people out of work. It is a huge asset to the local community and I fear that if it lost within a short time we will see a Plannning Application from a local developer looking to erect yet more houses!! And the green belt will then no doubt, become an irrelevance as far as WBC is concerned.

It is a helpful and friendly shopping area and helps distribute freely our local wargrave news.

I've been using this nursery since it was just a few poly tunnels full of rows of plants on the ground. Obviously their subsequent growth hasn't been "official" but I will always take the long journey for a great variety of plants, and all the other wares available. A lot of people are relying on this place for their livelihood.

I signed this petition as I like to visit Hare Hatch Sheeplands.I think lots of families like to visit as well. I like the farm shop and the other facilities there as opposed to the big Garden Centres.

My family have been using Sheeplands for many years. We find this is an enterprising business, with competitive prices, and first class customer service. It's loss would be tragic for both Twyford and the community. WDC should show rather more interest in the community in supporting Sheeplands and local interests, than sticking to their bureaucratic processes.

Having looked at this, although I'm not local, it seems like planning bureaucracy gone mad!
Guest#485 May 19, 2015, 19:42
Because I like it and the farm shop

Sheeplands is a fantastic place for people all over to go with their families and children. There is something for all ages and nothing quite like the place anywhere else! I fail to understand how Wokingham council can see fit to close them down and spoil so many memories people have from going to sheeplands.

To support a local business
Guest#488 May 19, 2015, 20:21
Part of the community and given the chance the place could be a brilliant place for people to visit.

My 3 girls love this place, we are from maidenhead and now live in reading so this is a great place for us to meet with friends for the children to play. I am shocked that this has happened.

hare hatch sheeplands
we love this garden centre, visit on a regular basis, can always find a friendly and helpful face if you any help. Will be a shame to see the garden centre close would be a great loss to everyone.

Its good for business . Several young people have good jobs. We need to educate children in small farms . Lots of lonely elderly people go for lunch and chats . Wonderful social place
Guest#492 May 20, 2015, 14:39
More ridiculous red tape. A good business providing jobs in the local area. I bet they wouldn't have these issues if they were a large national supermarket.
Guest#493 May 20, 2015, 19:59
Am totally convinced that Hare Hatch Sheeplands are the victims of a commercial conspiracy on the part of, either a local b ranch of a national organization in a similar line of business, or of a planning syndicate who wish to develop the site. The Green Belt argument does not wash at all!!

I have signed this petition because until recently I was living in the area and always used Sheeplands for all my plant requirements. They provide a valuable asset to the community, not least because they have a genuine plant knowledge and can give useful advice unlike many chain garden centres. It would be a great pity to lose this very lovely local business which provides such interest and diversity to the area. I still visit it regularly whenever I am visiting Maidenhead. .
Guest#495 May 21, 2015, 14:49
great community service. It would be a real to lose it.
Guest#496 May 21, 2015, 14:51
Hare Hatch Sheeplands is loved by the local community. A very good service will be sadly missed.
Guest#497 May 21, 2015, 16:19
This is an extremely valuable local resource that contains facilities that do not exist elsewhere locally.
Guest#498 May 22, 2015, 07:00
Great garden centre that is independent and serves a wide community with friendly and helpful service. We don't want to be left with every centre being exactly the same, this one is different and vital to many people
Guest#499 May 22, 2015, 08:38
It would be a very great loss to a great community and letting
big corporates (Wyvale) which the conservative Government
always sides on.Wyvale is such a boring and uninspiring place
same old stuff.I would also be worried about Ladds garden centre
will the tory council (wbc) do the same to them??.

I signed the petition because Hare Hatch Sheeplands employs local people, grows local produce and offers a wonderful service to local people. Everything about it is good and we should be encouraging home grown businesses like this one in every way possible.
