A friendly and original local shopping facility. So nice to not have the same old, same old! Have moved away but still return to shop. Come on Council, listen to those who pay for you to have jobs and take some initiative to make this work.

As a family we have been enjoying Sheeplands for many years now. It's especially magical around Christmas time and no other garden centre has ever come close. It's exceptional in every way. Everything you need is under one roof, and it's a fun day out even for kids. We would be sad to see this place shut down, it has something special about it, I would say it almost has a heartbeat and it would be such a loss to the community and those that travel from a far to visit such a wonderful place and people that work there. In our experience Sheeplands have always exceeded our expectations.

You are a hard working, tax paying, employment providing very popular business. We enjoy visiting you keep fighting.

Sheeplands is a great garden centre and farm shop serving a wide community, what's the point in closing it down?
Guest#707 Dec 23, 2015, 12:55
I feel strongly that HHS is a valuable community asset

I have signed this petition not only as a customer but as an employee of hare hatch. Rob Scott has been hounded by WBC for such a long time now. If the business is forced to close, I for one, at the age of 69 will be unlikely to find alternative employment, and would be forced to then seek PensionCredit. This is the best company I have ever worked for. The charitable work it hey do is second to none. Please just see sense.

I am a loyal and regular customer of Sheeplands and support them totally. Wokingham Council cannot fail to be aware of how massively important they are to the community!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WBC Dodgy Dealings?

The persistence of the WBC in pursuing Hare Hatch in an attempt to close the business could possibly be motived by one or more self-interested councillors with their eyes on the site. If they can destroy the garden centre the site becomes prime building land and said officials stand to make a fortune. It wouldn't be the first time this has happened in our area. Keep fighting Hare Hatch, you have my full support.

HH Sheeplands have demonstrated their business acumen and their love of community. As a rate payer it is my view that the Council need to lighten up and allow Sheeplands to get on with their business, serve the community, and in doing so add a contribution to the wealth of the area.

In support of a very good and established garden Centre,
employing lots of local people ,who clearly enjoy working there,
it is a great pleasure to go there

Because this is a wonderful place which sells high quality produce and has a marvellous farm shop.

Hare hatch provides a great place to visit. I have been visiting it since it was just a small garden centre and love the way it has grown. It also provides employment for a lot of local people
Guest#716 Mar 09, 2016, 19:01
Because I want the wonderful HHS to stay just as it is; the only place worth visiting in the area for quality and variety, and a special mention for the knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff.

What happened to yes if?

Fabulous independent garden centre
Guest#719 Mar 27, 2016, 20:50
Valuable family run local asset that would be sorely missed by both customers and employees. So many local businesses have closed down, this one is sorely needed for the alternative choices offered.
Guest#720 Mar 27, 2016, 22:37
This garden centre is a great place for me to bring the kids. They always have lots of events for kids. Used to love showing them the farm part.
Guest#721 Mar 28, 2016, 08:28
We used to go there a lot when we lived close. A positive uplifting place in the community prompting fresh produce, supporting local growers and encouraging people to garden, much needed for bees. A lovely community place with a nice atmosphere we used to meet as a family.
Guest#722 Mar 28, 2016, 10:04
because it an important place to visit for me.

Wokingham Council are too fond of shutting down public amenities, last big mistake was the Hurst Golf Club, soon to be a housing estate
Guest#724 Mar 28, 2016, 11:08

I have been using Sheeplands ever since it has opened.  the staff are all friendly and will bend over backwards to help with any problems we have in the plant world and  I feel that while other Garden Centers are being allowed to do other things (like Ladds puppy farming) and other selling anything from hot tubs to pets etc. then Sheeplands should be allowed to continue. SO PLEASE WBC DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR ONCE AND CAN YOU GET THE VEHICALS OFF THE PAVEMENTS!!!! WE USED TO HAVE A TRAFFIC WARDEN NOW LONG GONE THE LAWS ARE THE LAWS BUT EVEN TO POLICE DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT

Guest#725 Mar 28, 2016, 12:56
The council should listen to the opinions of public - am also concerned at loss of jobs and what would happen to the site if closed
