The one test session i attended is the first time i have ever stopped at locally owned business in St. ANDREWS. NORMALLY I JUST pass on thru.

Hands down one of the best things to happen to Manitoba for fellow car enthusiasts! The MPR team has done a phenomenal job to offer and provide a safe place for enthusiasts of all ages to get together not only to spectate but to race their vehicles!
Thank you to the team for all the effort this year and here is to many more safe and happy years of racing at MPR!!

(Winnipeg, 2020-11-19)

My place of employment is benefiting from the racers whom purchase parts and race in Manitoba specifically MPR Raceway. Having this little extra allows us to give back to the community thru sponsorships and donations that we do.

I live in the area and find it to be a positive addition to our community. A great local venue for people of all ages to enjoy.

MPR raceway is a fun SAFE venue for automotive enthusiasts. Also, spending money in small rural towns is always a plus. Off the roads and onto a race track thats close to Winnipeg. Its a win/win. I understand some may have an issue with the sound, but its a few events a year. Surely St Andrews can see this is a good thing for their community. Cheers.

This is a safe place for race enthusiasts as well as great entertainment for families. It’s nice to see something like this in our area. MPR’s staff is friendly, place is well maintained and laid out properly with covid restrictions in place. Definitely an overall positive add to the growing car community to enjoy their street cars and builds in a safe and controlled manner!! We’ve been waiting for this for a long time and the owners have put in a lot of money and time into this business to make it such a successful first year! I cannot wait to see what the next few years will bring!

I support a drag strip in St Andrews. Alot of money was invested in building it so people had a place to go instead of the street.

(Winnipeg, 2020-11-19)

#76

I am a drag racer and we need quality places to have to for all our racers to go.
On top this is a near by solution to putting an end to street racing.

(West st paul, 2020-11-19)

#78

This new raceway is actually making the undivided portions of highways 8 and 9 safer by helping cut down some weekend traffic going to and from Gimli.

I don't feel that there was any intent of the creators of the raceway to cause a disturbance to nearby residents of the airport. An active airport strip is a perfect spot for a seasonal raceway as there is already high volumes of noise, noise that has been around for decades.

Overall noise from the raceway AND the airport (mostly the airport) has been significant reduced from the installation of the hay bale wall.

(Selkirk, 2020-11-19)

#85

I love the race track!!!

(La Broquerie west, 2020-11-19)

#88

I am signing this to show my support for MPR raceway. I have attended the races, and think its a great outdoor venue for all ages.

(Saint Andrews, 2020-11-19)

#90

Racecars are not a crime, people always complain about speeding on public roads but don’t want a track for people to go to? We need to keep a track local to prevent illegal street racing.

Street racing will happen on the street when there is no other option. This race track keeps so many people from racing on the street. These guys and gals are so respectful of the neighbourhood and the roads in. Hours of operation are very respectful to the locals. They did so much work to calm the traffic in and out and to keep their footprint so minimal. Don’t let these career complainers, ruin something that’s keeping racing off the streets.

(Winnipeg, 2020-11-19)
