Monday is my collection day and they don't collect on that day! Sometimes they only collect the next week and we have to drag our bin down to the road until they decide to pick the refuse up. I pay refuse removal on my council bill for this service to take place on a weekly bases!

Waste is not being collected, people are dumping their rubbish illegally on private property and our bins are being damaged or stolen while waiting for the collection... communication is pathetic and yet the council doesn't forget to charge us for these services which we are not receiving.

Rates goes up and service goes either down or not existing anymore.
Municipality does not take pride in their jobs or towns. They just sit and wait for payday. Not happy with the way our town goes down the drain.

The situation is totally out of hand. Pushing the trolley out 3 to 4 days and then back at night is not a very good option for a pensioner with problems walking. Please do something about it

I am fed up with the lack of service from Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality with regards the dumping sites, the non- cleanliness of our area and just general disregard to street lights not working, filth in our roads. We live in a filthy hole which is affecting our health, the value of our properties etc. It is an absolute disgrace

The Simmer and Jack landfill is a huge health risk to the residents. Constant foul smells, dust in our houses and swimming pools. Bins are never collected. Influx of mice, rats, flies all die to above
