I am a former learner at Brebner and was aware of whatever harassment was happening. The school would take actions against learners misbehaving at school but wouldn't take any action against harassment. The school focuses more on the image and education than the learner's feelings. A girl can't walk freely without some Marshals asking to talk or for phone numbers. Others go to a point where they'd walk you to class.

I believe full heartedly that Lwazi, a PE teacher at Brebner High School is guilty of statutory rape and I know quite a few people (LEARNERS) personally who have fell as a victim to him, people (LEARNERS) who Lwazi tried to persue them. Brebner High School should be held accountable. Lwazi Ndiwa most of all should be kept away far from learners and deserves to deal with the consequences of statutory rape.

I've also been a victim. Reported it to the principal Mrs Robertson in Sept 2022. Nothing was done. She didn't even bother communicating with me further. Till I finished my matric in 2022

I was in Brebner last year for my matric 2024, and I guess as a male we don't really see these things when they happen as they were never directed at us but I remember a few things that where off and the girls would highlight it and I started to notice more and more. For example when females walked past just in the hallway one of the male marshals would smurk at them. And the way he would hug some of the girls in our hostel always felt more like something only appropriate for a lover, his arms where really low. But I think just in general he was never a chatty person with most people besides the few girls he'd frequently talk to. I obviously can't tell you what they where talking about or even say it was of that nature I'm just saying I believe definitely he should be investigated. In addition some of the females where very vocal about how he was trying to get with them or making advances which is very inappropriate. On top of all of that the parents leaving their kids in the hostel working their butt's off to afford that and some coming from lesotho for better opportunities and other kids whos parents send them there to be in a safer environment their putting alot of faith and trust in the school and i feel any alligations should be taken seriously without question and investigated and both parties questioned with the authorities present. I remember some students would say brebner isn't doing enough cause they want to protect their reputation well i cant speak towards that but it is better to be a safe environment than a wolf in sheep's clothing.
