Ounasvaaran lakialue on kaupunkilaisten oma henkireikä. Sen maisemaa ei saa antaa pois, mökkikylän käyttöön. Tämmöinen hanke kun ei tyhjään synny, tarvitaan tie, infraa jne. Kaupunkia "kehitetään" tällä hetkellä perse edellä puuhun-meiningillä, turisteja nuollaan kuin viimeistä päivää.
