Bid out our towns garbage contract

Our next town council meeting is Monday April 11 @ 7:00 pm.  We are currently paying the highest rate for our trash pick up in the area, but for some reason our council thought it would be best to extended this contract and not put it out for bid which could possibly save this community as much as $102,000 a year! If you can not attend the meeting but would like too voice your opinion please sign this petition so the council sees its not just the 20 people that showed up that are concerned but the whole community.  They choose who we use! Let's make sure the get us the best competitive rate available to us. They should be working for us not for who knows who. 

I don't know about you but I would rather use those few extra bucks every month toward my extremely high water bill!
