ما جمعی از اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه های علوم پزشکی سراسر کشور، دانش آموختگان دوره تکمیلی تخصصی علوم آزمایشگاهی، دانش¬آموختگان و دانشجویان دکتری تخصصی و کارشناسی ارشد رشته های علوم آزمایشگاهی مراتب اعتراض جدی خود را نسبت به مفاد آیین‌نامه پیشنهادی دبیرخانه شورای آموزشی علوم پایه، بهداشت و تخصصی که امکان ورود بدون آزمون برای اعضای هیئت علمی با مرتبه استادی و بیش از ۱۰ سال سابقه را فراهم می‌سازد، به استحضار می‌رسانیم. آزمون ورودی این دوره، یکی از دشوارترین و رقابتی‌ترین آزمون‌های تخصصی محسوب می‌شود که داوطلبان آن از نخبگان علمی کشور بوده و برای کسب موفقیت در آن، سال‌ها تلاش علمی، مطالعه فشرده و آمادگی بی‌وقفه را پشت سر می‌گذارند. در چنین شرایطی، اختصاص یک مسیر خاص برای پذیرش بدون آزمون و بر اساس بررسی سوابق، نوعی بی‌عدالتی آشکار در حق سایر نخبگان کشور تلقی می‌شود. اقدامی که نه‌تنها انگیزه علمی داوطلبان پرتلاش را کاهش می‌دهد، بلکه موجب تضعیف شأن علمی این دوره نیز خواهد شد. توجیه وجود «ظرفیت مازاد» نیز برای تخصیص این سهمیه، در واقع نوعی بازی با الفاظ است. اگر چنین ظرفیتی واقعاً وجود دارد، شایسته است به داوطلبان جوان‌تر و پرتلاش اختصاص یابد تا ضمن افزایش بهره‌وری علمی، بخشی از بحران اشتغال متخصصان علوم آزمایشگاهی نیز مدیریت شود.
ما معتقدیم که برقراری مسیرهای غیررقابتی و تبعیض‌آمیز در پذیرش‌های آموزشی، به بی‌اعتمادی جامعه علمی دامن زده و مغایر با عدالت آموزشی و توصیه‌های مکرر مسئولان نظام در پرهیز از ایجاد رانت و امتیاز ویژه است. لذا ما امضاکنندگان این نامه، ضمن تأکید بر حفظ سلامت و عدالت آموزشی در نظام آموزش علوم آزمایشگاهی، خواستار توقف فوری تدوین آیین‌نامه مذکور هستیم، تا از گسترش نارضایتی و ایجاد تبعیض بیشتر در میان جامعه علمی کشور جلوگیری شود.
