Animals should be treated more fairly, they are living breathing creatures who have feelings, they suffer, feel pain just as a humane would. It disgusts me that so many people get away with such cruel & inhumane acts against animals. Its about time all these so called charities that are there to help and protect those who suffer actually take the time to take action and do the job that they set out to do when they first started instead of selling out and spending all their money on upgrading new offices etc. Granted they need offices, stables and good grounds to provide for rescued animals and deal with paper work etc, but lets just say that some charities seem to go a bit overboard with their upgrades!

Anything that can be done to stop these ponies suffering needs to be at the forefront of every animal charitys agenda.

These breeders must be made to understand that we have moved into the 21st century, the days of the traditional and romantic notion of breeding these ponies on the hills and finding them useful homes, are long gone. This type of indiscriminate breeding just causes misery and hardship, not just to the ponies but also to the people who are left to pick up the pieces.

this man is not a hill breeder and his ponies are a range of welsh bloodlines, he is just greedy, cruel and neglectful.
That poor mare looks as though the foal was breech and stuck, probably was aborting it due to her emaciated condition.
The RSPCA once again have failed in their duty to protect animals.
Please people, if you want to buy a young pony or foal, buy it from a reputable stud who feed and worm their ponies so you know what you buy has had a good start in life!

This barbaric act of indiscriminate breeding with no consideration for the horses well being has to stop. Horses are not money making machines and need to be respected as living breathing creatures who deserve so much more than this.

How many brains does a human being have to be born with to work out that continued breeding on this scale is absolutely insane.

Poor poor ponies, welsh ponies are usually good doers, just shows how little or no feed they must have been getting to get into that state, i am totally disgusted. Where are the RSPCA and other organisations? and why has he been allowed to keep them in this condition for so long!?

Disgusting that this sort of cruelty is still happening when people are obviously aware of the conditions these poor animals are in.
