My son has faced some significant social challenges in his 3 years in school and changing schools now could be very detrimental to his development. This can't happen.

My little cousin loves this school and she shouldn't be made to switch schools. Just because someone moves out of catchment doesn't mean they should be forced to switch schools. I thought they'd done away with mandatory catchments many years ago.

In all fairness to the child if they have been enrolled in the same school prevously they should be permitted to continue to attend the same school. Most children do not adjust well to changing schools

My son is currently in grade 2 at John Howitt. He was enrolled when we lived in-catchment. If we were to have moved to in-catchment schools everytime we moved houses he would have attended 4 different schools by next year.
