It is lovely seeing the scooters in town.
Guest#6 Jun 24, 2016, 19:28
Because it's nice to see them there and people enjoy seeing the different scooters , their not doing any harm leave them along
Guest#7 Jun 24, 2016, 19:32
Because I love this in and the Scotter are a great attraction .that also bring good trade to a local business
Guest#8 Jun 24, 2016, 19:35
Scooters have been parking at Ollie Vees for nearly 4 years and they bring an interest to the town for many people who visit. Never any problems and parking has never been an issue over the years. The club creates a buzzy environment in the town and undertakes charity work too

How daft, they should be allowed to do what they like
RTBC#10 Jun 24, 2016, 19:47

Typical that something that is an attraction and good for the town and gives people a lot of pleasure is being stopped due to bureaucracy!

Let the scooters stay. They cause no harm and contribute to the unique and community atmosphere of LB High Street.
Guest#12 Jun 24, 2016, 20:10
Because the scooters aren't causing any obstruction and they are beautiful to look at when I walk through the town
Guest#13 Jun 24, 2016, 20:12
I love seeing the scooters in Leighton. It's part of what makes it such a lovely town centre to visit. They aren't in the way, they don't do any harm. They are a charming feature. They must stay!
Guest#14 Jun 24, 2016, 20:17
Because it is a harmless meeting point for like minded people, brings colour and interest to our High Street, stops it being a joyless collection of chain stores as so many other town centres, and brings character and economic support to the town's retail business.
Guest#15 Jun 24, 2016, 20:22
Scooters are iconic symbols of heritage and a notable part of British post war history. By virtue of NO incidents, accidents, nuisance and moreover bringing "footfall" to a dwindling retail centre, pragmatic authorities must be seen to work with communities.. Not behave as inhibitors. Encourage innovation... Don't stifle charm and interest.
Guest#16 Jun 24, 2016, 20:23
Because it was a friend of mine who posted it,asking for assistance,i'm into scooters, and fed up with boring bureaucrats making life dull,by kyboshing peoples recreational time on what lately seems to be a regular basis.
Guest#17 Jun 24, 2016, 20:24
The weekly meeting brings a lot of enjoyment to many passers by as well as bringing trade to many local businesses from the scooterists themselves.
Guest#18 Jun 24, 2016, 20:26
I think the scooter meet is a positive thing for the Leighton buzzard
Guest#19 Jun 24, 2016, 20:27

Can't possibility see why the scooters have become an issue.  Surely common sense must prevail and see the positives they bring to the town.

Guest#20 Jun 24, 2016, 20:28
Because I wok next door it brings life and footfall into the shop
Guest#21 Jun 24, 2016, 20:28
Love seeing the scooters parked outside ollie vees on a saturday
Guest#22 Jun 24, 2016, 20:32
Because it's the right thing to do when common sense has been overlooked.
Guest#23 Jun 24, 2016, 20:48
We need to support local INDEPENDENT business. Not put barriers in their way to making a living. Plus ... The club and Ollie Vees has put Leighton on the map as an interesting place. Use common sense and leave them alone
Guest#24 Jun 24, 2016, 20:50
Theres so much atmosphere in our small market town and this just adds to it!!!
Guest#25 Jun 24, 2016, 20:50
They are bringing trade into a small town and cause no problems to anyone
