FREE THE SABC FROM CENSORSHIP AND POLITICAL INTERFERENCE

SABC is not fulfilling its mandate in terms of efitorial policy

To try to get sense, fairness and honesty to prevail.

Freedom of speech is not illegal as far as I'm aware. This dictatorship is no better than the apartheid laws.

SABC is even furher going down the drain!!! Censorship belongs to the previous regime!!!

Freedom of speech is most critical in a county where corruption is in the order of the day

I believe in freedom of speech and this includes all media.

The SABC has a responsibility, as public broadcaster, to broadcast all news and should be free from censorship and political interference.

I hope all the advertisers withdraw their adverts in protest. I will also not be paying my TV licence as to do so when aware of this crime amounts to being complicit with the crime.

To protest against the dictatorship that has arisen in this country and which is destroying everything that the Constitution - now a completely worthless scrap of paper - had been intended to protect. Also, to protest against the nation of criminals, across the board, that South Africans have become, most of whom exhibit a complete contempt for the rule of law.

We, the public, have the right to know & see the reality of events as & wherever they happen WITHOUT distortion from the facts

because what the SABC is doing at the moment is immoral

The SABC is the public broadcast.it is not a private entity.Hlaudi must know that we have the rights to information because we pay.we pay tax and we pay tv licences.why silent our journalists?rather go back to school and be educated Mr H.I'm sure this journalists you suspended can do much better job than you

In a Democratic country it is out of the question to have a dictator of any kind, anywhere, in any situation!

Feel strongly that SABS should not be censored

I pay my licence to be informed not on selected information

All South Africans are entitled to transparent, true and current broadcasts on the situation in our democratic land!!!!!!!

Petition signed because Hlaudi Motsoeng is using the SABC to become the political mouthpiece of the ANC and is doing everything in his power to muzzle journalists and prevent balanced reporting

1)The public has the democratic RIGHT to be informed by the public broadcaster
2) I have been employed in the media in the 1980's and I know what it means to work under censorship. It is very stressful with fear ruling. (For this reason I changed jobs as my conscience did not allow me to be part of this any longer)
3) Censorship doesn't work. Eventually the citizens rise and topple the government anyway . It's wiser to keep the communication lines open and honest.

HLAUDI MOTSOENENG and all other unqualified and incompetent employees should be fired from posts and pay back their salaries.

Because censorship is the child of fear and father of ignorance.

SABC AND ANC CANNOT BE TRUSTED
THEY SHOULD EMPLOY PEOPLE WITH A PROPER EDUCATION TO RUN THE SABC AND ANC WITH HAS IDIOTS

Because I worked there for 5 years and this MUST NOT be allowed to happen
