Big Brother is definitely not a nice guy!

The Avaricious Narcissistic Cabal (ANC) has subverted several state and public instances for its own nefarious ends. A free & impartial media is one of a very small number of effective handbrakes on such abuses, and for this reason, the SABC is clearly the target next in line for subversion.

 

This ANC megalomania must be stopped before it's too late!

The censorship of the state broadcaster is completely unacceptable and not within the values of a democratic constitution the government is obligated to uphold. This is merely another example in which the ANC has abandoned its core values and the values of a free and just society.

We are being forced to pay for TV licenses for the things that are being taken from Dstv and other media. The only true and authentic thing (news) are being censored. I will never pay TV licence again, even if they uncencor the news. I pay Dstv, I don't need SABC, I don't watch soapies from SABC.

The SABC is outting the goverment initiative to create a dictatorship hiding behind the veil of a fake democracy. The SABC has made obvious our close ties with China and Zimbabwe are influencing the way the country wants to move its governmental and policing policies. If it wasnt the presidents attitude that made me fear our beatiful country is being molded for dicatorship, this move by the public broadcaster makes it clear this is the direction our goverment is moving towards. First enslaved by the white man, then freed by their comrades, only to be enslaved again by those very "comrades" who claimed to fight for their freedom. Stop this now, we are a free democratic society and the behaviour of our government and its entities is dispicable and disgusting!

Press freedom is crucial in any society, we see daily atrocities where journalist are under pressure both from governments and religious fanatics... Bangladesh, China, Egypt,Turkey, u name it.. and NOW SA..?? well looks like SABC is creating an environment of intolerance. this type of censorship gives raise to radical groups. I pay for my TV license just to watch news, and now the news aint news...? I AM Finito with SABC TV License, Im switching to anything else, even the proposed news blackout will do. we want noting by the truth, and a conducive environment in which journos can conduct their work effectively...

I do not agree with dictatorial way the SABC is currently being run. We are not living in Apartheid anymore. We are a democratic state and nobody has the right to abuse there power in this fashion. #wearefreesouthafricans.

I am concerned that the news from the SABC will no longer credible if this behaviour continues. This might have as result that the country vote on 3rd August on the basis of censored information.

Really "gatvol" for the way things are being done these days to favour people who should never have attained positions for which they are not qualified for. They are furthermore not impartial and cannot be trusted for honest and truthfull reporting.
