Mashaba Bring back our WiFi

We are living in the 21st century where information should be freely available through the internet. Free Wi-Fi is the platform through which the citizens of our city should be able to access the internet. Shutting down the Wi-Fi is actually denying our people access to information.

Because dis was helping de people dat can't afford to go to Internet Caffè.

Because as a young person I feel dat we need free wifis especially at Schools,Colleges and Universities

I do not need free WiFi but I support Mayor Tau's innovation to make the internet available to the poor. It's all about empowerment.

Our students and pupils really need this Wi-fi. The data is very expensive for the poor families, Mr Mashaba can not roll back the gains achieved under Mr Parks Tau.

Data is expensive

Society have voted the DA with the intention that it "it will have their best interest at heart" what interest do they have because it seems they have their very own interest to pursue. Young people in particular use the internet day in and out to communicate, get knowledge, check which departments or companies are hiring and also to apply for vacancies. The unemployment rate is tremendous and how will it be alleviated if young people don't have means to access the internet. How will they keep up to date and explore what is happening around the world with no access to interest . Jo'burg is an urban area please don't take us backwards. We are fighting to develop our rural areas we can't take two steps forward and ten steps back #bringbackourwifi

I signed because most black students can't afford data. primary schools need data to teach learners to research on the early stages of life.

Because free Wi-fi is giving good service and opportunities which make life easier to the needy.

An action has to be taken,we cnt sit back and relax when something so useful have been taken away from us,free WiFi has played a big role in our lives and have made it easier for everyone to access any information they need,imagine those who can't afford to buy datas so that means they won't be able to keep updated anymore,Enough is Enough#Mashaba Bring back our Wifi

The new administrations is taking the city of Joburg backwards.

The DA represent Apartheid and Mashaba is an agent of that system. His mission is to frustrate and deprive blacks of opportunities just like the regime did to our people .  Hands off the Joburg WIFI.

 

 

I am a residence of Johannesburg and I saw with the previous administration how the wifi hot spots helped a lot of underprivileged youth to go into the internet and apply for work , do research and many other things which if the was no free wifi they where not going to be able to access the internet .

To uphold our societal transformation commitment! !
