Induct- " NAZARETH" into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame

NAZARETH-the largest group of the twentieth century, who made a great contribution to the history of rock music. It is a pity that we have to promote them in the hall of fame with the help of the petition. I think that they are superior to many of those who already have in the hall of fame. Nazareth humble worker rock music and not suffering from " star disease and apparently so they go unnoticed officials. NAZARETH is worthy of glory.

NAZARETH was first trully rock group I heard in 1976. And they took me away. I have NAZARETH on vinyl, CD's, t-shirts, baseball caps, posters. They signed for me insert from Greates Hits vinyl album on their FIRST TOUR in Moscow in 1990. Four original signes DAN-PETE-DARRELL-MANNY. I met my wife thanks to NAZARETH. I was on many their concerts in Moscow and finally my wife and me were on their show in Krakow in April last year.
NO ONE ANOTHER AS THEM WORTHY TO BE IN THE HALL OF FAME. GOD BLESS THEM, STRONG HEALTH TO ALL OF THEM AND MANY THANKS FOR THEIR MUSIC.

The best band in the world

If any bane deserves recognition it is Nazareth. From their inseption to the mid '80s the released at least one album per year. Never has there been a harder working band. To this day you can SEE, in their live perfomances, they still love what they do.

I met Dan a couple of years ago, and he told me he didn't really care if they ever got in the Hall or not... but I care. Nazareth deserves to be recognized in the Hall of Fame with their peers, and all of those that they influenced that are already in the hall.

Nazareth is the greatest band of all times cant believe they have not gotten the recognition they deserve. Wake up people and honor the greatest. Dan Mccafferty is the greatest singer of all times who retired with no honors come on this is ridiculois.

Hopefully, like RUSH, they will eventually get the recognition they've deserved for so many years.

I've been a fan since 1973, hate to see Dan retire, won't be the same w/o him but who else has been together since the 60's and never stopped touring w/new records ? Who else has covered so many different styles of rock ? I agree w/everyone else on here, greatest band, best vocals, I mean no one puts as much feeling into the songs mood as Dan can from "busted" , "The ballad of Hollis Brown" "Read the book" "Changin' times" "Fast cars" "Pop the silo" "Move me" Woke up this morning" "local still" "milk & honey' etc.... I hate to say it but , the "rock & roll hall of fame" is known for some pretty ridiculous choices in the past that's inducted artists that don't even play "rock" music. I believe it's always been more of a "popularity contest". But I will not lose faith that one day someone will see the light and man up to do whats only been deserving more than any other band. I'm not a fan of cover songs but Naz has always been one of the few bands who actually improve a cover from it's original recording. Hats off to all members, past and present who have made Nazareth the greatest band to date.
