i played this game when it came out in 2008, I used to like playing R2 but not anymore because it's full of cheats and hackers.

Let this game continue all the friends and rivals that have been created will be lost forever.

I bought a PS3 this past Black Friday (2013) after doing a lot of research on how it would continue to be supported in the future. I understand Sony's statements on this topic did not reflect that the Resistance series would be supported forever, but I have to say that I have played this game for years on other's systems. I have beat the game 3 times now an have played countless hours online. This is one of my favorite games ever (any platform, of all time).

Please listen to the public and if something must change, please be creative with trying to extend the life. I love this game!

If this is what is expected to happen to games for the ps3, then Sony has helped me resolve what system to buy next.

The R2 fan base is a friendship that has brought hundreds of people together. Don't let it die.

yes true, r2 have to save resistance, look at the friendships and clans and fun. it would be a epic loss to all playstation consumers and every that love it please keep in online!!!!!

The competitive MP in R2 was never that great but large scale unranked matches with friends and the co-op mode are ace! I can understand closing the servers for R: FOM as they're not very busy any more but the servers for R2 and R3 are still extremely busy so closing those doesn't make sense to me.

At the very least it would be great if the R2 servers would be given another year, because many people are desperately trying to get the (P) before the servers go down in a months time and probably won't make it.

Please do not close down resistance 2 or any of the resistance games for that matter there all amazing and should be kept forever especially considering they are all instant classics

please don't end r2, i enjoy this game very much and play it religously. I have friends from around the world and we love that we can play coop and talk to each other and work as a team. its one of your best, look at how much it is still played.keep r2. i also play r3, fantasic games !!!!

Please keep Resistance 2 alive! I still play the game and have lots of great memories in it.
