Alternative Medical aid for Government officials

I'm tired of gems raising funds year to year we pay a lot of money bt other services gems refused to pay we pay our self #gems fees mustfall.

GEMS is increasing dramatically for us government employees before Salaries adjustment. I can not afford it anymore and it exhausts quickly

I am not satisfied with the yearly increament and yet the benefit are decreasing, I did not use my medical aid too much last year bt was told by August that I don't have funds anymore

GEMS shouldn't be the only subsidised medical aid

Government needs to subsidise all state workers for any medical aid they choose. Currently u have to be a member of GEMS in order to enjoy the subsudy from the govt! THIS IS UNFAIR

The costs of my medical aid is too high and fees exhaust early

I am paying far too much and by September there is no benefit available.

Because I am sick and tried of Gems and its funds that I cannot afford and I cannot afford to be without medical aid as I have a child and a mother that needs to be on the medical aid.

The service from GEMS is unacceptable. I did a general calculation and we have an estimated 1.2 million gov employees and if each pays a minimum of R2000 including subsidized amount to GEMS they making around 4 billion a month on contributions. Yet the benefits are low and limited. They cover only generic medications in full as they are cheap and always there is levies to be paid to doctors, hospitals, pharmacies etc. We paying more and getting no value for money. Detailed research must be done to get gov employees a better medical scheme with affordable monthly contributions and excellent benefits all round from day to day cover to in hospital cover. Together I'm sure we all can make a difference that will benefit us all

Sick and tired of gems

I want better Medical Aid with better benefits not a rip off and I need not be faced with so much medical bills if I have a proper medical aid

Sick of gems...doesn't pay most of lab tests and it's very expensive!!

I am not satisfied by the shortage of finds six months before new year round starts yet paying monthly contributions. Where do they go? (Monies our monies)?

This is too much for us paying so much where as Gems doesn't pay for some of our medicals.

Dissatisfaction from Gems when you need to contact them they are not available funds exhaust early they do not pay for most of my needs where as we pay religeously

We paying a lot of money and the medical aid doesn't cover other services, rather we get to have other medical aid to choose from and the government subsidise it fully

Gems is making us even more poor.We are already struggleling financialy and Gems is just making it wors.So Ive sighned the petition,because Gems must Fall

Because Gems is ripping us off.

Ipay gems every months but I also use extra cash ,so what the use of this medical aid?

I hope and pray that our prayers be heard.we don't get value 4 our money.
