It is really unfair to think of Ban on Gita. It is one of the Holy books of India. This book not only educates human beings as to which way to follow but also establishes an everlasting relationship with God through which one gains a peaceful and harmonious life.
If proper direction is not shown to mankind, mankind heads towards destruction as we are already witnessing it in the current world.
It is a book which purifies the mankind from all the pollutants and helps acquire an eternal blissful knowledge.
