Ban Tail Docking on Dogs in Ireland

The people passing this law are as bad, if not worse, than the people doing these disgusting acts. None of them have hearts, would they like it done to them?

Are you stupid or what? In many countires this has been banned for years and no hassle: Rotties and Dobies look beautiful with proper tails.

If ordinary people are going to be allowed do this, I dread to think what we will be faced with. I am a veterinary nurse, have seen botched jobs on small pups, shoelaces, dental floss, lamb tail rings and a bobbin to name but a few. Pups screaming every time they move, massive infections.

Tail and ear docking should be banned for the animals safety, How would you like a part of your body removed without any medication or pain meds they feel pain just as much as we humans do.
So I fully agree with petition to ban docking any part of an animal.

Stop this completely unnecessary and cruel practice particularly by people who have no idea what they are doing.

What is wrong with humans? Some people are just down right cruel and evil. Those kind of humans should never be allowed to own or come close distance to to any dog or other animal as long as they live.

Some humans should just be left on an Island of Stupidity with no animals around.

Humans are going too far with their evil tricks in society. And, governmental agencies allow it. Whats wrong with the laws and justice systems?

When will Ireland come into the 21 century as far as animal welfare is concerned? One despairs at times.
