Because anyone above the age of 5 is too old for this channel.  Anyone with a brain would never cancel a highly watched family show. 

Best show on and it should not have been canceled

At one time I had hopes for this network, but replacing shows like The Glades & Longmire with more duck dynasty crap is showing that they do not care about good programming.  This network is just about bad reality shows and after Longmire being cancelled I am cancelling them from my list of networks to watch.  I am done with A&E!

I'm a 28 year old Australian male fan of 'Longmire'. I'm baffled as to why it's been cancelled. Smart, dramatic, fantastically scripted, brilliantly acted and directed.

There's so much potential to further the multiple stories and sub-plots in Longmire. How a show with so much quality and guaranteed ongoing success can be cancelled so abruptly, while Drama series such as NCIS and CSI churn out formulaic episodes season after season, just doesn't make sense.

Longmire is highly watchable, original and entertaining. In terms of backing it with money to produce the next season - anyone who's watched all three seasons could tell you it's also highly bankable.
