Bring Back our Coast Guard Communication Centers

This is so so important

Seriously. We live on the coast. Hundreds of miles of oceans and lots of stupid people in boats. Someone has to save them.

Because I firmly believe in it's purpose, all lives are important and should be watched over by the best means possible.

I live on an Island in the Salish Sea!!!

My husband is a West Coast troller. He fishes out of Ucluelet and I want to know Coast Guard has his back!!

Local knowledge of areas and monikers can sometimes mean the difference between rescue or recovery. Also back up systems ate needed. Centralization and amalgamation are dangerous to mariners and the environment. What is a life worth? What is our environment worth? More than the money saved by closures

Because closures were a dumb idea, we need more coastal protections not less.

I live not far from Comox in Campbell River and i see the traffic (on the water) every day. We need this station to make sure no tragic accidents happen on the water.

I'm living in a sea country and our Coast Guard Communication Centers are very vital. So, i understand your cause and your worries!

The Canadian Coast Guard should have as many resources as necessary to do their job.

Because it's clearly very important.

We are power boat owners. We are in Georgia Strait every summer and appreciate everything the Coastguard stands for. We have boated in the Tofino, Ucluelet, Bamfied areas as absolutely concur that a radio station in that area is vital.
