if you think your gonna keep them off the track, good luck with that. the two wheel bikes will get around everything. but in the end i pay my taxes in cbs, i paided 3500 dollars in taxes on my quad, buy gas for my quad and you think i have no right to be on the track dust and all because people like you spend a few minutes walking. dog shit everywhere no gas bought no taxes paid. listen tim we have sidewalks in cbs for walking.and i own the track just as much as you do. and did you know that this was made for a great big train.once again the to few try to run the many.

I will use the railway bed when I want to on my bike, and I do respect the ppl that are walking! If they don't like that, there's sidewalks for a reason!!! How much $$$ was spent on side walks in the CBS area?? Apparently that was money well wasted...

Yes , why did they make sidewalks ? Seems kinda pointless to me , open the track so all of use young fellas can have some fun , your ruining everyone's fun!

Okay so what if there was a train otg still where would people walk then... The "sidewalk" the town of cbs spent a nice chunk of change to make them sidewalks so why don't the walkers with their dogs and stuff use the sidewalk. Open the tracks please. As a fellow newfie I use the track to get to place where i like to fish. Set snares. Open the railway bed to us people trying to have fun, town of cbs should be ashamed to put so much money into making sidewalks and no ones using them. Come on people!

I remember hunting in the placentia juntion area 31 as a child with my dad when the railway was still there...after the train stopped running...it saddens me to see the devastation since the train stopped...they should have left the tracks where they were...it's way to accessible for everyone to use as a dumping site now ...the country has been ruined not only by bikes but mostly by all the junk campers and garbage that has been dumped over the sides of the tracks...that people have left behind along the tracks to just rot away...it's a complete eyesore and disaster in my eyes...people seem to have little respect these days especially for the environment...

When the ideas of a linear park(railway track) were met with much pushback from the atv riders/users/supporters, CBS Council promised a ATV bypass route to be constructed. Once they passed it through council (the peoples vote), the bypass fell off the grid. Create a bypass for Atv's before you create the linear park.

Keeps people from breaking the law

Whether they close it or not people are still gonna ride on it so it's just as well they keep it open of not there are gonna be a lot more bikes on the road

They should not be taking away this portion of trail until the new section is opened.

I think everyone should be able to use the rail bed. For walking biking 4 wheeling dirt biking or whatever. It's better then having them on the road with traffic. All my years on the rail bed walking bikers have always slowed down waved and went on their merry way.

Open the tracks please! Buys a new bike and ya can't even ride it, like come on. Riding it anyways is always fun hahahaha. Open the tracks please.

Leave the railway bed alone this is one place we can go and relax unwind and have our fun out of sight out of mind , it's not hurting anyone it's just our way of being ourselves as individuals

Something needs to happen. Soon be nowhere to ride in cbs. I see nothing wrong with using the rail bed as long as courtesy and common sense prevails!!

Cmonnn by'ss. Give up the foolishness. Keep the Railway bed and allow people to use it with recreation vehicles. this is ridiculous.

The walkers have enough place to walk and we have no where to ride,something needs to happen

We have all growen up with the rail bed and used it for its original purpose. Transportation. Whether or not you walk or ride, you can walk anywhere. Leave this territory to respectful motorists. the motorists that slow down and quiet down when someone else is also enjoying the rail bed.

Dont let our community turn into mt. Pearl...... we need to preserve!

There is a good chance this is a make work project that one of our finely elected reps decided to blow money on....
