yes, there is difference between preaching nonviolence like Gandhi did and preaching Bhagavad Gita. Prabhupada wrote a letter to Gandhi, but he didn't listend to Prabhupda. Prabhupda said to Gandhi - do not go to that meeting - or you will be kille.d Prabhupada said to preach Gita, and not politics. Gandhi didn't listen. So Gandhi was killed. But even Gandhi was for cow-protection etc. Our modern religions like christinity islam jewdaism are agasint animals, they support butcher houses. It is fact! There are many theologists who say that animal has no soul. They even voted that soul is there is women also. So, thus they eat animals. And this is extrimism. This started 5000 years agowhen Krishna disappeared. So then Kali came and killed first cow. From that time many people are killing cows. Greeks liked reincarnation, metempsychosys. But this was rejected by chrisitans. They didn't like soul in demigods. They may like idea of Supersoul and that became God. But they rejected demigods. So people have no idea how is spiritual world different from material plantes of heaven. So they do not know even of material world well, hell exist. There are hundreds and thousands of hellish planets... So... This is very serious situation. If one killed cow means that hundreds of thousands of years one has to suffer in hell for that, imagine - millions of kgs of meat of cow is there all over the world. And doctors, thologists, etics, culture leadrs - they say - "meat is good". So they do not know differnce between what is good for thin body like mind intellect false ego, and what is for eternal atma soul. Sokrates prooved that soul is eternal. And we know that it is in every living being even in plant. If Prabhupada says that one shouldn't become plant, that if one is living just for food - eating etc - just like plnat- is that offense? Or if one compares one to cow - is that offense? Cow is very good animal, favorite of Krishna. So this is real science of God and from God (Krishna), but people are just blind, and take scientific atheism instead and atheistic religions (dharmas). But PRahlada said to stop that.
Religious principles that obstruct one from following his own religion are called vidharma. Religious principles introduced by others are called para-dharma. A new type of religion created by one who is falsely proud and who opposes the principles of the Vedas is called upadharma. And interpretation by one's jugglery of words is called chala-dharma.
PURPORT
To create a new type of dharma has become fashionable in this age. So-called svamis and yogis support that one may follow any type of religious system, according to one's own choice, because all systems are ultimately the same. In Srimad-Bhagavatam, however, such fashionable ideas are called vidharma because they go against one's own religious system. The real religious system is described by the Supreme Personality of Godhead: sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja [Bg. 18.66]. The real religious system is that of surrender to the lotus feet of the Lord. In the Sixth Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam, in connection with Ajamila's deliverance, Yamaraja says, dharmam tu saksad bhagavat-pranitam: [SB 6.3.19] real religion is that which is given by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, just as real law is that which is given by the government. No one can manufacture actual law at home, nor can one manufacture actual religion. Elsewhere it is said, sa vai pumsam paro dharmo yato bhaktir adhoksaje: [SB 1.2.6] the real religious system is that which leads one to become a devotee of the Supreme Lord. Therefore, anything opposed to this religious system of progressive Krsna consciousness is called vidharma, para-dharma, upadharma or chala-dharma. Misinterpretation of Bhagavad-gita is chala-dharma. When Krsna directly says something and some rascal interprets it to mean something different, this is chala-dharma -- a religious system of cheating -- or sabda-bhit, a jugglery of words. One should be extremely careful to avoid these various types of cheating systems of religion.

они думают что все боги, кроме Иисуса - это идолы? Но это же неразумно. Слишком узко. Я живу в своем селе - и не знаю что там в соседнем. У меня своя религия - а что там еще есть - это все мне не интересно и не нужно - у сменя самая лючшая. И вообще я вырос в этой религии - значит это правильная религия. Ведя я же не мог родиться в плохой религии, не так ли? Но если так, то почему мы пользуемся товарами с других стран? Или вернемся в замкнутую экономику советских времен? Вот как живут например животные одного вида, и не имеют отношений с другими. Пришел один проповедник к каннибалам - говорит - почитай Библию. Другой анекдот о атеисте, который продвинутый, пришел в другое племя, где все дикие и читают Библию. Говорит - Билия не модно. А они для него готовят костер. Так вот тинквизиция со стороны мясоедов-христиан Томского суда по отношению к Бхагавад Гите как она есть - это как инквизиця варваров-атеистов по отношению к Библии - спалить, убить, роазрушить все храмы. Нет не уменьшить кол-во хзрамов в 10 раз. А разрушить все храмы, кроме - угадайте каких? Только вместо Лелина - Иисус. Ну это не плохо, но как-то замкнуто, узко. Так вот Ошо говорит, пришел проповедник в такую замкнутую общину "секту" (пусть будет это реакционная секта атеистов-мясоедов, с вождями врожде Ленина Маркса Гитлера Сталина Мао и прочих Дарвина Фрейда и подобных), и говорит - вот я вам принес Библию. А они говорят - а, пришел христианин. Наверное очень вкусный он? Мы еще не пробовали мяса христиан. А он говорит - а вы знаете какой вкус, что такое высший вкус? Они говорят - нет у нас свой вкус. А твой вкус твоего христианства мы попробуем когда мы тебя съедим. Вот так... Так и христиане думают что Кришнаиты - это такие Шиваиты тантристы, которые едят мясо и людей, в том числе христиан. Но если так, то скорее христане - ближе к каннибалам чем кришнаиты. Ведь Кришнаиты в идеале - вегетарианцы. Сколько вегетарианцев среди христиан? 10% дай Бог. А среди кришнаитов. Да их Большинство. И я скажу - абсолютное большинство. Конечно не каждый вегетарианец - уже верующий, но вегетарианство - это уже ближе к Богу, пусть даже к буддизму. Эх, темный лес...

Да, со временем, значение духовного знания усиливается, а атеистического - слабнет. Кто вспомнит какого-то атеиста после его смерти? Ведь он даже сам не верит в жизнь после смерти. А духовных людей, личностей вообще помнят. И чем дальше время идет - тем более ценно становится учение Кришны и Прабхупады. Когда другие способы не работают - ни церковь, ни медитация, ни жертвоприношения полубогам и подобное - остается самое сильное средство = святое имя. Хари Кришны Вишну, Чайтаньи Нитьянанды. и преданных в нашей сампрадае, вообще во всех 5 вайшнавских сампрадайах. (впрочем вконце концов мы не против других религий - ведь без тех же Мухамада Иисуса Мойсея и т д - было бы больше атеистов. А так хоть относительно легче жить...)

yes, but even if they (atheists) buy the book Gita As it is, they still do not get much benefit. Unfortunately. When one meets bona-fide spiritual master, bona-fide scripture, he should stop doubting. But they are doubting never-endingly. So they loose all sukriti, and all their goodness becomes zero... By ofending other religions they offend their own soul, and approaching spiritual death.

yes, it is a book for a living being, for all souls in any of 8 400 000 species of life. If one chants Bhagavad Gita aloud - he can deliver different living beings. If one chants aloud- sankirtana - he can help living beings around who hear this. So even animals plants birds fishes etc - they can sometimes be better than some people. People have mind but often they misuse it against God, or become blind on own religion, thinking that there is no soul and no God in other religions. Does it mean that "only my religion has soul and God idea, but all other religions have no ideas of soul and God? No, but there is gradation. Like in currency. All money is equivalent to gold. But we have USD, Euro, Russian ruble etc. So if we see that one currency is better than another - it is relatively. Becasue they have same golden equivalent - gold. So in religion there is same equivalent - rasa, taste. So in Krishna consciousness - there is higher taste, higher rasas like having relationships with God as relative, friend, mother, father, brother etc. Chrsitianity says that one can be only son of God. What about daughters of God? What about brtohers of God? But Krishna has brother (Balarama), He has mother Yashoda, Nandana, Nanda - His father, right? So does it mean that GOd is born like simple human? Well, some materialists think so. But they are better than atheists (mayavadis) who think that Krishna is zero or matter or maya illusion. Well of course there are also impersonalists who try to say that KRishna is not a person, that one has to surrender not to Krishna as SuperSoul, Supreme PEsonality of GOdhead, but to some "unborn within Krishna". But this is what Prabhupada was against. He said that such atheists are rascals. Though they can be some 1st 2nd 3rd class karmis or jnanis or yogis, but they are still rascals. Becasue by such comments they try to kill Krishna, even when writing comments on Bhagavad Gita. Well, maybe there are not so many of such people, but there are hundreds of editions of Bhagavad-Gita. So Gita must be given without misrepresentation. THen it is AS IT IS...

Более миллиарда жителей Земли почитают "Бхагавад-гиту как она есть" священным писанием, наряду с Библией, Кораном, Дхаммападой, Торой. Более миллиарда людей выражают признание переводчику и комментатору этого священного писания, А.Ч. Бхактиведанте Свами Прабхупаде за его вклад в просвещение человечества.
Основная идея, которую Шрила Прабхупада в своих комментариях доносит до читателя "Бхагавад-гиты", заключается в том, что человек - душа, частица Бога, независимо от расы, цвета кожи и вероисповедания. И как частица Бога, Который есть Полное Целое, наше предназначение - служить Полному Целому. Где же здесь экстремизм..?
По мнению многих образованных людей, среди которых видные политики (Махатма Ганди,Раджив Ганди, современные политики), писатели (Лев Толстой, у которого "Бхагавад-гита" была одной из настольных книг) это великое произведение дарит самые возвышенные моменты в жизни человека, приближая его к милости Господа.
Поэтому необходимо пересмотреть своё отношение к "Бхагавад-гите как она есть" тем, кто критикует её и вместо этого попытаться понять суть послания Кришны.
Я искренне молюсь Богу, чтобы Он защитил Своих преданных и Свое послание к людям, "Бхагавад-гиту".
