Суд над Бхагавад-гитой / Attempt to ban Bhagavad-gita

The Bhagavad-Gita has been one of the most sacred scriptures of the Hindu culture. I don't understand why it is considered to be "extremist literature". I would like to know what content makes it extremist literature. The Bhagavad-Gita, focuses on the teachings and stories based on traditional Hindu stories. Why must another country, other than India, makes such a drastic decision? This news is unacceptable and is conducive to much aggression within Hinduism. I humbly ask the Russian Court to please reconsider their decision in putting down such a holy scripture as the Bhagavad-Gita as "extremist literature".

Bhagavath Gita shows man how to live a divine life, a life of morality, a life of fearlessness, a life of Joy. I pray for the people who are mentally ill (those "banning" Bhagavath Gita), and hope that they realise that what they are doing is not only incorrect but crazy

Please do not ban Gita, it is a very sacred scripture and is as pure as any other religious texts.

Although its Russia and they have their rules, but banning a spiritual book of another culture is not correct...dont do it please

Can't imagine as to why any society or Nation would even consider any Holy Book, especially a book like Srimad Bhagwat Gita, that simply shows ythe way to happiness and God through righteousness. Please tell me if there is anything offensive in the book toward any segment of Peoples.

Please DO NOT deprive people of a good thing by banning the Bhagvat Gita.

Bhagwad Gita As it Is is an authentic and bona fide vedic book. Please don't try to take it away from people as it is much needed by everyone.

Such country should study script and then make such comments about god,s own wording Gita.

The cordial relationship and high regard for great literature between India and Russia is very ancient. The high class literature of both countries should be freely available and be promoted for the welfare of all people to promote peace in the world.The Gita is appreciated allover the world by great personalities and leaders, above all Gita is regarded by more than TWO Billion people on this planet as the most balanced spiritual literature. Gita is the instruction manual for dignified conduct of human race to live in peace. A simple practical living with a high standard of philosophy. A thoughtful civilized society should welcome this literature. Thank you.

How on Earth reach such an extremity as banning that very version of the Bhagavad Gita authored by one in disciplic succession of the Lord Himself. That's absurdity to the highest degree.

This is a blatant attempt by a few select people of Russia who are against the welfare of humanity.

Bhagavad-gita to be read with devotion and respect. It teaches about practical lessons needed for good life. There is no extremism and detailed study of Bhagavad-gita makes man more humble and down to earth. Swami Vivekananda preached about Gita and there was a no humble man than him in known history of religion scholars.

Gita is good advise to live life and easy so its not a wrong so do not se in your holi book in russia

Gita talks about bringing harmony in life by killing the evils within. This is most wonderful book I have ever read!!!
