Dear Russian Brothers and Sisters,

Why do you wish to ban such a logical and illuminating book? It does not befit your great culture and the great friendship and cultural ties that India and Russia have shared since time immemorial.

Please do not yield to such pseudo religious/fascist attempts at de-recognizing the unity of all humanity. Banning such a noble book that shows oneness of all consciousness and the means to achieve it as humans will be Russia's loss, not India's or the rest of the world's. Please use your better judgement in this regard.

Bhagavad-Gita is a wonderful manuscript which can benefit all mankind. Not only Hindus, but all the religions can relate to the topic about the eternity of the soul and death of the material body.It talks about everyone's opportunity to achieve liberation if they follow the instructions of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

In democracy you can not ban any scriptures let alone Bhagwat Gita As it is?

We have been taught Bhagavad Gita from a small age and as a result have become responsible citizens all over the world. The B Gita is as important a scripture if not more when compared with the Torah, the Bible or the Koran.

"BHAGAVAD-GITA AS IT IS" was translated by Srila Prabhupada,the founder Acharya of ISKCON, without any interpitation of what Lord Krishna had told to Arjun in the battle field of Kurukhetra. As Srila Prabhupada is a pure devotee of Lord,only he can presents the exact copy of the words what Lord Krishna had told to Arjun in Kurukhetra battle field.Now a days so many Bhagavad-Gita are available in the market,which are written by many people.But these people are not the pure devotees of the Lord so they are unable to present the exact translation of the words spoken by Lord Krishna in the Kurukhetra.

Bhagavad-Gita As It Is a holy scripture in Hindu.This book showing light to the people in general and giving message how to lead a peaceful life. This book should be spread to the whole wolrd to make the whole world peaceful.

In all scriptures from the saintly representitives in all spiritual paths we will find it is told that God has given the human race FREE WILL to choose thier own path and destiny both in secular life and spiritual life. Through free choice, according to our hearts discernment we can arrive at the Truth, without it there is no hope. Being controlled by another individual or Government will only lead to rebellion and rejection. And the Supreme Lord is the only trustworhty Autocrat. There may well be many misconceptions or misrepresentation of religion but that is up to us all to decide for our selves.

So for the welfare of the entire human race and especially the Russian sector don't allow such archaic shallow ignorance to cloud over the brilliant illuminating rays of pure transcendental wisdom and loving guidance for the whole suffering animation. The Bhagavad Gita is the only literature on this planet spoken directly by God Himself 1st person and hence is non-different from Him, therefore it would'nt be wise to go into opposition to Him.
