The Bhagavad-Gita, like the Holy Bible, is world classic spiritual literature. To try to ban the Gita would be ludicrous. If banned, it would only go underground, and become even more popular.

As a doctor and scholar in philosophy I got puzzled and perplexed about this Russian initiative ( even if I still hardly believe it is possible!), that I consider uncivilized and useless. I hope a beautiful country with most intelligent and unique human beings like Russian, will not sponsor this unprecedented wrong decision.

Бхагавад Гиту с этими комментариями читают по всему миру - эти комментарии чистого преданного Господа, и совершая этот суд - вы наносите оскорбления от которых будут ужасные последствия. Святую личность обидеть не получиться - но Господь будет в гневе за него

This is blind decision of Russian government.They can't do like that.It's a world's oldest and pure spiritual knowledge.It's history is too old.Russian can't insult any religion and community.They should take lesson from India in spite of many language.Indians are living peacefully.

The review of Bhagavad Gita done by proper academic scholars shows that it is very venerable literature. It has changed the lives of many people and transformed the heart of people making them kind, good persons. People gave up violence even towards animals, gave up meat eating, smoking etc after reading Gita. It is only foolish to think that Gita can cause bad effect. This ban should be stopped immediately. The review done by Tomsk prosecutors is biased and twisted. It should not be given any weight.
