Well done Peter with the petition and to Stuart and everyone involved in moving this new initiative forward in such a positive way. The ball is now in NRW's court, let's see what they do with it and let's hope Peter Gough treats it in a way which allows an added impetus to the urgency of the Wye Salmon's future. Opening up the rivers for access by migrating salmon is, of course, a necessity, but I feel that the stocking of hatchery-raised, genetically-identical, fish is still required until many more thousands of salmon return to the river. Some of us don't see a salmon from year to year, never mind catch one.
