Historic Terrace Theatre Hy-Vee Boycott

Because I went to this theater as a child, and I also took my own child here. My parents also had one of their first dates at the Terrace. That's why I signed the petition.

Because I enjoyed going to movies at the Terrance

Because as a child I and my brothers would go to the movies there.

The Terrace theatre was an important part of my youth in Crystal/Robbinsdale. It is definitely deserving of landmark historical status. It would make a wonderful music and arts venue.and setting for community events.

Terrace cannot go from the are we need to preserve it why not have both then after shopping go to the theatre

Because of the memories and the value the theater holds to the community. Reopen please.

I feel that this historic place should be restored and preserved. We need to keep our minnesota history for our children

Because this is community, I grew up in the area. This theater should have a presence with the new development. It was so cool when new and open. I say they should open their restaurant in the old ticket sales-lobby area. The tower sign is well worth saving!!

I will never shop Hy Vee aka "How-Low" again!

A lot of memories from this state of the art theater. Still remember a lot of the movies seen there. The best Cokes, donuts and coffee in the lounge. Also the people that worked there. It would cost millions to duplicate this building. It would make a great arts center or public library.

I like the fact that Hy-Vee wants to put a store closer to my home, but feel they need to work around keeping the theater intact.

Cause it is a beautiful place brings many memories and would bring people to Robbinsdale abd there for money. .the heights that has a good business. .thank you

I love this building! It is full of so many wonderful memories... It is truly a crime to want to tear it down!!

Would love to see this theater reopened instead.

The Terrace is an iconic building. It's in the process of being designated a historic place. It would be devastating to the community to tear it down, and flatten the lot. Hopefully calmer wiser minds will prevail. The memories of happy times at the Terrace will hopefully spur people on to fight for it!

Hy-Vee would be a great addition and we could still have The Terrace too!

I loved the terrace growing up

The Terrace was my theater growing up. My grandfather used to take me once a month to see a matinee. Afterwards, we'd stop at Montgomery Wards or go to Thrift Way. The last thing we need is another big-box store! Restore the Terrace! Stop destroying small businesses!

I don't believe this building should be torn down for HyVee. They have no regard for the community.
