This boy, although only 14, made an adult decision to end another young mans life. A young man who had a very promising future. The shooter, like Jacob, could have been anything he chose to be, he chose to be a murderer!! He showed no respect for this young mans life and he should be punished accordingly!!

Because I believe if you commit a crime you should do your time...juveniles need to be responsible for there actions....a message needs to be send out to all juveniles. ....if you commit adult crimes then stand up and take responsibility for your actions....I feel bad for both families. ...but we gotta start somewhere and let juveniles know that you will be held responsible. ...for all their actions......

Sanders should be tried as an adult. Let the punishment fit the crime. Our justice system is far too lenient with adolescents who commit heinous crimes. A life for a life.

Because anyone in their right mind thats gonna kill someone over something stupid should be punished to the "FULLEST" extent of the law. Juvenile or adult. If he had nerve at age 14 to pull a trigger, you know hes gonna do it again when he gets done with his short sentence.

By today's standards... A 14 year old is fully aware and capable of understanding that taking out a gun and pulling the trigger can and will kill. This homicide was also committed in the process of another crime. He knew full well what he was doing. He's like the thief that isn't the least bit sorry that he stole, only sorry that he was caught.

You take someone's life, then life as you know it is over. Your actions are that of a immature adult so then you will be treated the same way. The young man who died at 18 can't come back, thus the shooter shouldn't be illigible to be free at 18

I'm sick and tired of people who commit gun crimes getting off easy. Too many of them get to plee bargain, and having the illegal possession of the guns dropped from their charges.
