This is a good idea. The park is many years overdue. We are seriously lacking in recreational facilities. Mount Pearl has spent over $30M on a new recreation centre, they have playgrounds galore. The new arena was tendered the same time as the one in Paradise. I dont think there's any concrete in the ground yet. Our council and past councils have done nothing but campaign on water sewer and asphalt. We need stronger politicians in government and we need councilors that will push them for what we need. Council needs to do more to promote a larger commercial tax base so that we dont fall further behind. Get off the gravy train and start pulling your weight.

If this does happen, it would be nice to have a separate section that's just for toddlers. The problem that I saw with bowring is that the parents let their older children run around with little to no supervision and the younger kids cannot really enjoy this fun splash pad.
