Pretoria Road

Not only does this road damage cars and cause havoc but now all the traffic diverts up Uys street which is not built for so much traffic and this will damage the road not to mention the traffic is unbearable during g peak hours now. Fix the road.
I live in Hartley Street and while roadworks were going on in Pretoria Road, traffic was detoured (trucks, buses, taxis, cars...24 hours a day!)onto my street. As a result Hartley Street consists of repaired potholes, loose gravel and stones...a total resurface will have to be done!
I have to drive this road to work everyday, my car is already damaged due to the non existent road.
I use the road to go to northmead when i'm on lunch .i'm working at rynfield ,in the morning it cause so much traffic i am always late.Sometimes the traffic officers are the to control traffic but it doesn't help.u no how are the taxi drivers.
Government organizations have but one function and that is SERVICE DELIVERY. If customers are unhappy about they have paid for (through our tax) then the municipality should immediately be hold to account.
I have to use this road every day, many times. It is highly dangerous! Nobody obeys the robot at the intersection of Pretoria and Lessing Roads. They drive through the red robot all the time. They use the servitude to jump ahead of traffic. And grid lock the intersection. Metro does nothing to intervene. They park their car on the side of the road and watch the dirty free for all going on. Please could this be addressed urgently! It is affecting our rights as citizens of South Africa. We are entitled to safe, secure roads, surely? Not to mention the fact that we had a perfectly good road to begin with; safe, smooth and easily travelled.

I use this road daily and feel it is totally unfair . Who is going to pay for tje damage to our car tyres
