Feel it was an insult to remove Elvis' name and he should receive the recognition he earned and deserves.
Guest#102 Jan 06, 2016, 13:36
Because Elvis deserves to have his name on the wall , he always thought about others, he was kind, generous, caring person.. Elvis was there when you needed him.
Guest#103 Jan 06, 2016, 14:03
His name deserves to be in it!

I signed this petition because I feel Elvis REALLY deserves credit for what he did to help with the Arizona. I have been there and this is a very moving place to see. Elvis loved his country and certainly deserves credit for helping raise money.

I have visited pearl harbour and know elvis helped towards the memorial and he should be reinstated he did a lot to help charities during his short life

Elvis raised a lot of money for this memorial, he also served this country with honor and was honorably discharged from the US Army! A Veteran, who happened to be an entertainer was able to raise enough money to get the USS Arizona turned into a memorial honoring the fallen, Elvis deserves the recognition of his time and talent
Guest#109 Jan 06, 2016, 16:44
Elvis deserves it because he did so much for his country and never got anything back!!!!!
Guest#110 Jan 06, 2016, 16:45
because its deserved
Guest#111 Jan 06, 2016, 16:53
Elvis' name deserves to be placed back on the USS Arizona Memorial. He worked very hard to raise money to construct the memorial. To have his name put on, then taken off, is unforgivable & a slap in the face for his generosity.

Are you kidding me? Elvis helped raise money to construct the memorial. His private life has nothing to do with that. What judgemental jerks you are. How high and might you much think yourself to be. His good way out weighted the problems he brought on himself.

Yes Elvis name should be put back on the Memorial for his contribution to raising the money to finish the project....I was in Hawaii on several trips and saw it in the museum, until they redid everything , and now no mention of Elvis....Shame on the Government for removing Elvis name.............
Guest#114 Jan 06, 2016, 17:52
NO SENSE TO BE REMOVED
Guest#115 Jan 06, 2016, 18:02
The sun never sets on a Legend ... And Elvis is was and always will be a Legend!
Guest#116 Jan 06, 2016, 18:06

Guest#117 Jan 06, 2016, 20:32
Absurd that Elvis Presley's name is not on the "USS Arizona" when he did so much to have the memorial materialize.
Always amazes me that Americans are so judgemental. Much be all that religion.

You are so right, He donated 65,000$ to build. He had a drug problem, many of our vets did and still do.
Guest#121 Jan 06, 2016, 23:10
Because elvis helped build it and it belongs there
Guest#122 Jan 07, 2016, 01:16
Because he deserves to be recognized for his effort in this memorial.
Guest#123 Jan 07, 2016, 01:19
Porque é justo para com Elvis.
Guest#124 Jan 07, 2016, 01:20
I can't believe it, Elvis never harmed anyone but himself, and he put on a great show to raise money for the USS Arizona. My father-in-law was in the Navy and he thought Elvis did a great service by raising money for the Memorial, an so does the rest of my family.
Guest#125 Jan 07, 2016, 02:53
Because Elvis was the person responsible for getting the Arizona finished
