Elvis deserves recognition for what he has done the same as anyone else does and his name doesn't deserve to be tarnished as a result of biased allegations made against him.

We have libraries, public buildings, roads, ect. named after Presidents and other elected officials in this country. Some of them have a lot of not so great things in their past and present but we don't rename those places!

Because of elvis's effort to honour all service members and he did it with grace and not wanting anything in return, he loved all services and should be respected for this.

Elvis dedicated his time and efforts to raise funds for the USS Arizona memorial. His name should not have been removed. In recognition of his contribution his name should be reinstated.

It Surely Was'nt The Kings Fault Entirely ; That Mantle You Could Place On The Head Of The Cor.Tom Parker & Dr. Nick. Both Of Whom Benifited Largely From The Kings Payroll.

Then Of Course There Was Us The Public Who Gave HIM No Rest , & Pricilla Who I'd Imagine In A Normal Relationship Would , & Should Have Stood By Him ; Afterall She Took That Vow "In The Presence Of God Almighty." Did'nt She.!!?????.

They took the money. If they don't want to show appreciation for it then give the money back, plus interest, to his estate. His drug use was a sickness supported by many so called doctors. The people of the USS Arizona should be ashamed of themselves.

I have written to President Obama so many times & no reply. I had so many petitions filled out and wanted to take them to Obama or to someone at the White House. I still have the petitions with me.The Hawaii Fan club have tired and no luck, but they sent the petitions to the Arizona Memorial.They took no notice.I visited the site in Dec., 2008 & was sad to see that the plaque had not been restored to its rightful place.An Officer there had the nerve to say that Elvis gave pocket money. o I said Why did you take it.? hey were so rude. I thought that P. Obama was from Hawaii & he could have Honoured Our Elvis Memory& love for the Country. I thought that the White House could have sent me a reply. Aloha Nui Loa....x Elvis did so much for so many People and He loved his Country.

Elvis helped raise the money for it to happen. His name needs to be on it!
