Reinstate Elvis' name on the "USS Arizona"

I THINK HIS NAME BELONGS THERE.

His name should have never been removed in the first place....Reinstate Elvis' name on the "USS Arizona"!!! So git her done asap!!!

Because it makes me absolutely sick that they would take his name down when the damn memorial wouldn't be there without him!!!

Elvis' actions as a patriot are legendary.

Elvis made a large contribution from his generous heart. He deserves the recognition . He had contributed to many worthy thankful institutions. Some of which he did unnamisely. He did much good for many. His kind heartedness should not go unrecognised. They took his money willingly.

Because it should never have been removed Elvis did this out of love for his country don't forget that !!!

I signed because I think they were wrong to remove the name of the man that gave his time to help raise the money that they needed so much to restore this piece of history, Elvis served his country signed his Army checks back over to the army did his job like any other military person, he did not ask for or expect favors. He raised this money to help this event and should be remembered for this...

His name should be left on it.

Without Elvis doing that show in Pearl Harbor...there never would have been a memorial. Sen. McCain refuses to comment on it.. Shame on him.

What the heck kind of reason is that to remove his name. Does that issue negate all he did for the memorial or does it negate that he served his country when he could have got out of it? Give me a break. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Why should his name be taken off? Don't you know what happen before? It was Elvis that helped get the money for the first one. It is not right to take his name off How do think Elvis's family feels about this? Only Christ was without sin, not you nor I. Please put his name back. For the love of America. Thank you very much. Because Elvis deserves the recognition. His concerts in Hawaii have helped this monument thrive! He was a true American!!!

Elvis fan and he did more good in life than harm

My wife and I visited Pearl Harbor last year it was beautiful and of course sad at that the same time . Our only disapointmeent in this great memorial to the defenders of our freedom was that it here is no mention of ELVIS PRESLEY who donated his time and money to kick start the memorial above the USS Arizona , and of course ELVIS served his time with the uUS army with pride and didnity !!!

Elvis was depressed. I'd be in drugs too if my mind was going crazy. He had a hard life earlier on and his mother died young. He was a great person and his personal business is NONE of our business!!!
