Reinstate Elvis' name on the "USS Arizona"

Elvis Presley loved the Hawaiian people and the islands. He helped financially to make the memorial possible. His name should never have been removed. None of us are perfect and our legacy should be the good we have done in our life without judgment.

Elvis severed time in the military, his name was on there and should have remained. Let his private life be just that private. He's helped and gave so much to everyone, I am a loyal fan from beginning to forever.

Because Elvis has sufficient merit .

Because I don't believe Elvis took drugs. He was a good person and appreciated his fans. More so than a lot of performers who can be quite rude. He deserves this and it never should have been taken down.

Elvis was a legend. A hero. A man who gave and gave even though it ruined his health. Although a lot of the charity he did went unnoticed we know over the years of what was published that he did so much. This man deserves every award going. He changed music, culture and challenged the barriers at that time but he succeeded. Between him and the memphis mafia, they changed the world for the better.

Because Elvis was amazing and probably always will be. Needs to be commemorated in any way possible.x

I signed this petition because, I was horrified to find out that Elvis's name had been removed. He raised most of the money for this project through his kindness and hard work.He may have taken uppers and downers(so did many in his business) But he died from a heart attack not drugs (also had many other illnesses).President Kennedy had more drugs in his body than Elvis. We dont hear about that.

Elvis presley,s name should be carried down for many years to come he is the most catastrophic man that will ever walk this earth his voice his looks and his movie talents he's just wonderful in everything that he did so please save his name love everything about him

Because Elvis Presley was well known for giving &I don't see what one has to do with the other. besides ...the us army started him on proscription drugs so he could stay on duty because of the sleeping disorder he had. Thousands of people visit this monument & people need to know what Elvis did to help!!!

Because Elvis was very concerned that the memorial would not get finished. Unfortunately his lifestyle was not the best in his last days, however his should be back on the memorial. We were there on the 25/4/16. We were treated so well, we also had the honour to lay a wreath there in remembrance on behalf of the Bathurst RSL Australia.
