SUPPORT CORK AIRPORT

I feel it is fundamentally important that the south of the country has a air travel service provision, the country would be moving in a very negative/backward way to isolate all air travel to the Dublin area, what with the reduction of flights from Shannon and minimal flights from Kerry the south is very poorly serviced. Also it would be a gross waste of public money to not make full use of the improvements to Cork Airport.

Please help save Cork Airport from closing.

It would be areal shame to suppress such important airport in this area. This brings people and definitely helps locals.

My parents may move to this part of Ireland as they feel very at home there. Cork airport would be vital to us being able to visit more freely.

Because Cork airport is vital facility providing a wonderful service to air passengers in the south of Ireland and is of significant value to the ongoing growrt and development of our tourism industry.

Because we are in danger of loosing connectivity from Europe into the South of Ireland. Putting all flights into Dublin & expecting people to drive to the south is not a solution.

I love flying from Cork. Staff very friendly, parking more accessible, particularly for older people.

My wife is from Cork, not that far from the airport. It's really useful for us, but that's the selfish part. There must be loads of people who rely on it, not just those that use it, but those that work there. Letting it slide into oblivion would be absolutely stupid.

I grew up in cork but now live in Toronto. Every time I go home to visit my family I fly to through Cork. I would hate it if the flights I use stop. Cork is such a great airport

Cork is the second capital. We need this airport to stay.

We need out airport.. It's lapping business coz flight are being cut not because people won't use it! If there are no flights how can we use it.. It's a disgrace that our nations 2nd city is being held in such low regard by our government and the daa.. We need action now or the doors wil close which ses to be the agenda here!

Cork Airport is the most polite Airport in Ireland and People of Cork and Surrounding Areas NEED it.

Because Cork Airport is lovely and we the people need a local and well serviced link to the world.

My partner and I frequently travel through cork airport as we livd between Aus and Ireland. If Cork airport was to close it would be a major step back for Cork as a great and modern city! Save Cork Airport!

The minister for transport is saying Cork airport is of major importance to south Munster if so why won't he give us a level playing field.Michael Noonan made a massive deal for Shannon airport why not give Cork the same ??

because I visit cork every year and do not want to fly into Dublin then catch a bus to Cork.

I was born in Cork, go home regularly and can't understand why I have to travel from Dublin when there is a very good airport in Cork. How stupid to have an airport that you can't fly into. Europe is open to one and all, flights have become so much cheaper, people wish to travel and here's an airport with so few flight. What a waste ,wake up time.

I was born in Cork and I would like to be able to fly back there.

To fly to Cork from Bristol is so much easier for me to see my greadchildren then to fly all the way to Dublin and the wast my time driving down . Please don't close Cork

I have used cork airport and believe we should support regional airports and keep jobs and money in local economy

Cork City is now showing signs of prosperity. Cork Airport has excellent facilities . To support this we need more slots and it needs to be further developed.
