The Council and Housing Association are supposed to help people - not make life more difficult for them. Parking has always been at a premium in Mousehole - how does building housing on the parking that is there help anyone - it just adds to the problem by bringing more cars in - and where are residents supposed to park?

I signed this petition because I am fed up with hearing about organisations, which are supposed to serve their communities, letting these communities down by removing the facilities on which people rely. Selling off parking spaces is short sighted and unfair to local residents and should be stopped.

As a regular visitor to Mousehole it can often be quite difficult to find local parking especially if you are staying in the village due to the amount of tourists that park.  If you remove the parking for the locals and tennants this would mean there would also be less parking for visitors which could impact upon the livelyhoods of those dependant on the income tourists provide.  What is the point in providing additional housing where no one can park.
