I have children who have beloved horses at the stable and have been riding there all through their school years. I am a pre-school teacher and have many children at my school who have gone to parties and been introduced to horses for the first time in their lives. I have been protected at the beach front and other walks by the police men and women who ride the police horses stabled at this venue. We have walked through and visited the stables and shopped at the STABLES Lifestyle Flea Market for many years. There must be another avenue or venue to sort this out happily for both sides

I signed because it's an absolute disgrace to even consider closing this place, it's part of our history, home to some incredible animals, jobs for wonderful grooms etc, hope for so many people and a wonderful part of the community.

It's a historical site and a big part of Durban's history I took lessons here in the 70's. There's a soccer stadium already it's a white elephant no need for another.

I learnt to ride at the stables - we leased a horse over the holidays and learnt to care and be responsible for it when we were children.
I believe it is important to maintain these facilities, and it currently serves as a great initiative and opportunity for small entrepreneurs, and a pleasant evening out for the public. We would travel all the way from Pinetown to spend an evening there.

I have very fond childhood memories of having my riding lessons & show jumping every Friday afternoon on High Noon under an experienced coach, Patty. It would be very sad to drive by and not see the beautiful horses that brings back such beautiful memories. Upasana

I signed this petition because I love horses they are amazing creatures they don't deserve to get put to sleep because u guys have so many I can tell u put lots of effort and work into ur stable and the people and horses who come there.
