I signed this petition because I believe in the rich heritage of the Newmarket Stables. I care very deeply for horses as well, and do not wish to see any of them lose their lives. Also, I want to see the people who have dedicated their lives to the Stables, as well as the students and horses there, continue to live their dreams. Please, Save the Stables.

I am girl who is very passionate about riding, and knowing that people around the world love it too. I'm concerned about the gossip of Durban Africa taking down Newmarket Stables. I would send in money, but I do not have it at the time. Just please know that there are all kinds of children in Africa that love horses like me and look forward to having a stable to go to ride.

I want to save the stables as well as some of the horses. Even i don't own a horse, i love all of these animals and i think that they shouldn't be put down. Also this stables surely makes a lot of people happy that they can live their dream there. I wanted to help them and I hope that i did :)

Why make them move just for a lousy sport? If that sport place wants to play their sport so bad they can build else where. making horses and riders move and many horses will euthanized just for human greed is wrong.

I believe that the equestrian sport is dying in Southern Africa. Closing stables like Newmarket Stables just worsens the problem. Keep Newmarket Stables open. Horses deserve a happy life and Newmarket allows that. Don't close any more stables.

I signed the petition because I believe that these stables should not be closed down. Especially not with all the people they have served and all the wonderful horses that are there. Euthanizing the horses just because the place might be closed down is wrong and inhumane. It should not be done and the people who think so ought to be ashamed of themselves for doing such an obscure act to good and innocent horses. It will also be hurting a lot of people. We all have feelings. We need to stand together and fight this battle.
