#22015-08-27 13:29There is to much traffic, not enough water or electricity and the diseases that get dug up could kill millions. |

#32015-09-24 08:22Developing this area will put extreme strain on all amenities, including sewerage, water, electricity, as well as the risk of disturbing grave sites, strain on already heavily polluted river system, traffic chaos. |

#42015-10-04 08:38In order to develop a world class city, short-term gains of developers must not be permitted to defile the flora, fauna and environmental aspects of the area. |

#62015-10-04 12:04We need all the green sapces we can get in Johannesbur - for oxygen (trees) and space - and Huddle park is one of few safe places to be safe in the open. Do not make this area unsafe or encroach on it. |

#102015-10-05 09:17I signed because of the disrespect shown to those buried in the area, plus the health risks of disturbing these graves in particular, given the diseases they succumbed to. And also because of the obviously greater traffic on the already overburdened roads in the area. |

#112015-10-07 11:53More extensive feasability studies must be carried out, and low cost housing in close proximity to the existing infrastructure will regrettably carry the real possibility of negatively impacting on the neighbouring suburbs. |

#122015-10-08 07:06The plan is part of greater scheme to devalue property in affluent areas to make living accessible to the majority. It stands to reason that with the current economic climate and in many cases below standard salaries these people and perhaps other less fortunate will not have decent conditions. The plan is a disaster: no thought has been given to the spread of the diseases resulting from the exhumation of the many graves. Over and above which it is a desecration of graves of people who were probably more (economically) productive than the current government. |

#16 Re:2015-10-16 15:32crime may increase but also if the development is for peoplle who are on average less afluent than the surrounding, existing residents, how are they going to afford the simple itemsd like food and transport? Different area's pay different amounts for similar ggoods depending on demoggrapgics. This 'sheme' is bound to cause more hardship than good |

#18 Re:2015-10-16 15:36Who would cover the cost of the potential health risk. My suggestion. Let the potential developers place US$25 Billion (estimated cost of potential medical outbreak) in a non interest bearing account for 25 years. Then let them look at what it would cost to makjr any profits |

#192015-10-25 18:42The tropical diseases hospital and graves are on this property and there could be a real threat to exposure to these diseases to people that live in the area. |
