Support CT National Dragway

I was around when CT had a Dragway and would spend the weekends there. Having another Dragway in CT would be good for everyone. A place where we can see what our Muscle Cars and Trucks can really do on a legal track. As it is now, the closest track is 2 1/2 hours away, and if you don't tow your car, your car would have to cool down to get some good numbers on the track. Plus if something breaks, it's a long way home with your car on the hook. At least if you're in CT and live here, it's a lot easier to get home or have AAA tow it. Plus it will cut down on all the illegal street racing going on now, which is very dangerous for everyone!!!! Lets get this done ASAP!!!!!!

this needs to be brought to this area for entertainment, revenue, ect.

Sounds awesome but as everyone knows Connecticut is known as the "No Fun State"

Would love to see this happen. I know all of us at The Diesel Shop Llc would love it.

Everyone wants to squash street racing but not give the racers any legitimate place to race. This is the perfect idea.
Until then, street racing has a legitimate gripe with the general community.

should bring revenue to local community, and cut down on street racing..

WINDHAM SAND & GRAVEL BANKS........ use google earth to see. Jay has leased 50 acres with an option for the remainder.

1/8th mile with IHRA sanction. There will also be a 115' 'test&tune' track.          1/8th mile tracks draw the small tire heads-up crowd.

It would be nice to have this here but this is Connecticut. The worst state in the nation.

i think this is the best news in years for the performance community in ct even thou its an 1/8 thats three gears of fun and it will keep the cars off the street

we need this to keep the uneducated racers off the street
