I think this a great project. I visit Connecticut every year for a period of time. I think this will be another great thing about this community for the the locals and visitors and also boost the economy. Thank you

This would be a wonderful addition to our local area! As well as much needed drag strip for the entire drag racing industry.
I look forward with much excitement to visiting this venue when completed.

Hope this thing happens,I spent many memorable Sundays at the old Conn Dragway watching Frank Marada's funny shows and is sorely missed!

I am happy to hear that we finally are getting a close track again! I can't wait to get my high school involved!

Ct needs a place where people can drag race safely instead of on the streets endangering others.

First track I ever went to was Connecticut Dragway in East Haddam.Miss it. This will be nice.

It would be nice for the economy, as well as local racers, if an 1/8 mile dragway was opened. The key is MANAGEMENT. The elected or selected management team must have the proper, long term goals correct to make this venture happen, and stay in-place for future seasons. They must also fully understand and address all community concerns to ensure the longevity of the proposal.

We have a good sized group of hot street cars, would love to have a closer track to occasionally run them.Our cars are American muscle type cars, and we love this type of racing, supercar shootout,musclepalooza,etc. Hope this works out!!

Great idea. If it comes through, I would race there! Ton of people along with me are interested too!
