it is about time we had drag racing again in connecticut. It is a trip either going to lebanon valley or englishtown. i remember going with my car at connecticut dragway years ago. So nice just an hour drive fron southern conn. We have stock car racing why not drag racing. the thing that killed the old conn dragway was location. The streets getting there were through neighborhoods and the residents complained and the top drag race teams could not get their rigs through those narrow streets.

Connecticut dragway should have never gone away,if a new track can find a home it should be supported!!

This would be the best thing to happen to CT. I hope everything goes smooth and CT has the the great opportunity to have the IHRA here as well. One of my favorite racers The Mad Man Frankie Tayler (not sure if spelt right). He is the best at what he does.

I have a front engine dragster I run 1/8 mile at winterport dragway in Maine great place great people but it would be nice to see a track closer to home good luck

Ct needs a dragway.People are tired of driving out of state. Ct offers nothing to Car people. Plus it will keep racing off the streets and teach people how to have fun and to stay safe.

A CT dragway is long overdue. The many car enthusiasts throughout the State should have an establishment within CT to enjoy the sport of drag racing. With that said...we NEED a 1/4 mile strip. 1/8 mile track just isn't the same. Please consider the 1/4 mile. Do it right the first time.

I grew up at Ct Dragway, racing with my older brother in the 60's & 70's. I still have our original drag car (1968 RoadRunner) and look forward to racing again in CT.

Illegal drag racing has been a part of Willimantic for as long as can remember... Only for the simple reason there is nowhere to run... This would be a great outlet for kids and families to enjoy the spring and summer nights...

I AM ADRAG RACER. I BELIEVE THAT CON. NEEDS A FIRST CLASS ONE-EAIGTH MILE STRIP. THIS WOULD ELIMINATE SOME OF THE STREET RACING AND GIVE THESE PEAPLE A LEGAL PLACE TO RACE.BESIDS IT WOULD BE ONLY 40 MINUTS FROM MY HOUSE AND SAVE ME CONSIDERABLE TRAVELING TIME TO THE NEXT CLOSIT STRIP

i worked ct. dragway in colchester for many years raced there and now i go to lebonon vally for the drag its in my blood lets get this new dragway in ct back .
