Hungary has NEVER been a democracy except the short period between 1990 and 2010.

You claim Orban is standing up to the EU's austerity measures, yet at the same time he visits Brussels and agrees to do what they ask. Then he introduces measures that will stall economic growth and impose austerity on Hungarians. The teachers of Hungary are about to strike because of these measures. Your hero Orban is two-faced. He shows you one and then when he is in front of the Eu he shows another. You have been suckered.

The new constitution is a step away from democracy. It is a betrayal of Hungarian revolutionaries of the past.

#123: Magyar - Fidesz is bad, but better than MSZP

Jobbik would put the Hungarian government back to the fascist ugliness of 1944.  What came for Hungary after that was of course 1945 and the ugliness of communism.  Nothing better would come out of Jobbik rule today.  All the parties of the past have failed and Jobbik is just a return to the past.  Hungary needs a new party independent of MSZP, Fidesz, and Jobbik.
